Throwing this out to you creative types: I am launching a Christian website, FindingJesus.net. I'm looking for a logo to use for the website, versions of these logos which would be useable for simple 1-color t-shirt logos (i.e. white logo on black shirt, black logo on light colored shirts) and a banner/header for my webpage. So, final requirement is: 1 logo, same logo in black/white, ready to send to t-shirt printer, and a cool banner. Winning designer gets $100 via PayPal. Basic idea: MissingJesus should have a bit of an edge, Guerrilla marketing, viral fell to it, it's aimed at teens and 20-somethings, primarily. Almost something that could be "stenciled" to paint, stickers, etc. A couple of logos I think are on track: http://modernmarch.files.wordpress.c...jesuspier1.jpg http://reineke.files.wordpress.com/2007/11/jesus.jpg http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Vz-G-fUO9I.../jesus_che.jpg I've done multiple projects here before, from $20 - $500, so I'm a known entity. I'm always blown away by the quality of work I see here and look forward to see what you guys come up with!
hi bobbyp, so sorry to bother you, but i'm interested in posting a contest but it's not allowing me to post... i tried emailing digital point but no reply. how do i do it? it's saying i'm not authorized! Again, sorry to bother you with this
Only one of your links is working, mind giving us some other links for the type of image you're looking for.
Here you go. Logo is vector and 100% scalable (you could print this on a bus if you like!), available in single PANTONE color which can save alot on some printing methods. Let me know what you think, i will be happy to make any amendments as i enjoy grunge style work and would really like some christian work in my portfolio. Finished work available in any format you wish, including .ai .eps .pdf .png .psd. Regards
Not seeing it yet, guys. Take a look at the face on the "jesuspier" grafiti, it is EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Looking for less of "artistic, flowing Jesus" and more of "realistic man Jesus" if that makes sense.
Could you offer some advice on my work, it is VERY similar in concept to the jesuspier image, single color stencilled effect. I dont know how i would get closer without actually copying the jesuspier image, which i doubt you want. I'm sure i can design exactly what you want if you give me a little guidance Regards
I don't think you can get a less artistic version without either copying that image or taking a jesus looking photo and photoshopping it to preference, which I'm pretty sure in both cases breaks the law...
I've made a diligent search and have found no source for that graffiti. There would be no legal limitation on using/editing that source. As for taking a photograph (sourced material) and editing it, depending on who owned the material and their distribution, it may violate law. (Which is why I'd like to avoid using that method). Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (it has happened in the past)
OK so you do want to use the actual Jesus pier image then. This version uses a 100% vector recreation (not a manipulated photo) of the referenced image. Being a fussy designer, I still prefer my original, but as stated i really want to get this work in my portfolio, so your the boss! If you have decided you dont like where im going, please let me know, but a little constructive, targeted guidance can go along way. Regards
well I guess I'm out of this one. I'm not going to copy somebody's art work and help redistribute it on t-shirts. Have fun guys.
