Yes, techentrance.com is the best. I use them myself and would not switch over to anything else ever. I'm quitting the proxy business but I may buy a smaller hosting package from them for my own personal use.
Where can I find a cheap proxy listing script similar to proxy.org and proxysitelist.info. It should have an option for people to opt-in via email and the option for me to email those subscribers daily with proxies.
I mean i compare to TMZ price but i never host with them. I also heard some info about TMZ but the owner said he already improved the server performance. I think he will come to clarify about this soon. (he always around this thread heh)
I've heard bad things about there slow servers at TMZ. I'll add my comment here, instead of opening a new thread. I'm looking to buy a proxy site it getting 1-2k vists per day. PM me with details.
I've been with TMZ for a month though I never saw a there servers to be slowed down. But the problem I faced with them was they had some issues with apache which caused my proxies to remain offline for almost 3days. After almost 6-7hours of downtime I contacted them on Digitalpoint and email as their clients panel was closed for maintainence but there was no reply from them for almost 60hours and the proxies remained down for the time being. Finally I've all my proxies on lacehost and its been pretty good so far as I never saw any downtime or slow server responses.
You don't really need a proxy listing script for that feature.. you could just sign up for google groups, and insert the code they provide you with so people can sign up to your mailing list. It also reduces the risk of being accused for spam as they have the unsubscribe feature built in.
Guys Smowtion takes ages to approve domains ? What are you doing about ? are you placing the same code thru out your network ?
Smowtion have become a victim of their success; I can confirm that long wait. Myself, I have not actively been promoting Smowtion recently because the couple of bucks in total I got for the sign-ups doesn't comprensate for the long wait, which can delay the launch of a new proxy and thus constitute a loss. Stop actively promoting them or the situation even gets worse with everyboday waiting even longer on lose money. I know some old Smowtion foxes already searching for non-saturated ad networks ..., but I try to stay there.
AFAIK,the best affiliate i using is refer my proxy user to buy a software that can do the job such as hide/change IP. Each sales i get around $30-$40 depend on which tools they buy.
Nice So far sold over 160k impressions on GuardTunnel's header proxy ad. Now the real money is starting to come in
This might be a little off topic, but you are talking about proxies, now i wanted to know if they classified this as viral or malicious behavior, cuz i built it, ran it, next day my isp bans us for 24 hours. Heres basically what it is, i use the proxy websites (seems to be CGI works the best), get the proxified address in the url bar, and add that into a simple rotating javascript iframe project i pulled from some where to randomize the page drops, and it iframes 3 seperate proxified addresses on one page (kinda like quad hits idea) it waits for 15-20 seconds and then reloads the entire page doing it again. I used to use it on a seperate ISP and it worked great for alexa ranking (actually it started doing right weird stuff where proxy sites were cloning my site.
Well your wasting the ISP's bandwidth so yes it probably is considered malicious. And if your using other people's proxies which it sounds like your doing, then your also wasting their bandwidth. Hence I wouldn't expect to get much advice from proxy owners.
yes it is. but if you get banned from adsense you may look for alternative choices right? also it's not bad idea to earn some extra bucks from proxified page which you can not get any income from adsense. (google prohibit to put adsense ads on proxified page)
