Caffeine is going live after the holidays on one data center and slowly they are going to implement it all over. So you guys are going to see Google doing this 1. Crawl a large chunk of the web. 2. Index the resulting pages and compute how reputable those pages are. 3. Rank and return the most relevant pages for users' queries as quickly as possible. Sounds really great to me.. and for other power searchers as well. Google will open the envelop of size, indexing speed, accuracy, comprehensiveness and other dimensions. someone to share what will be the major differences in the ranking algorithm? or place and url to read about that?
People were testing and checking how this algorithm works ... I think it will be faster and give you most relevant results for any particular search. Lets see after the new year ....
Sandox is no longer available: 1: Anyone know where we can still search caffeine? 2: Is caffeine the same as when it was first launched or did it change from the first release...
We have made a blog post about this that we are updating as information comes in. http://redfoxseo.com/2009/11/google-caffeine-is-set-to-go-live/
I just can't wait for to see it live, one of my websites ranking reall high in the top 3 results when using caffeine
There was a special website just so you could test your search results in caffeine. Its no longer live. www2.sandbox.google.com was the link and now its shows a message about whats happening. Its got nothing to do with the sandbox effect on keywords.
I know they are attempting to not alter rankings with this...but show of hands, who is really nervous?
