IPB? Need advice.

    Hi,

    I am considering to switch to IPB in the future (not vB anymore :()

    Can any IPB user/admin tell me how it differs from vB for the two points below?

    1. Does IPB has plugin system like wordpress?
    2. If yes, does IPB has a lot of plugin available?

    IPB does have a plugin system but it's not as advanced as vBulletin, as vB provides very advanced features.

    IPB has cool inbulit features like facebook connect they dont have lots of mods u can surf through thier mods out here http://mods.invisionize.com/ . Its quite decent compared to the free softwares for sure

    Yea currently its new so less plugins are there there are external paid plugins though..But compared to vb user base is less. now that prices of vb has increased good chances IPB will have more users

    So when did IPB 3 released? Few months ago? 38 plugins is way too less :D

    I still remember few years back IPB 1.3 is very famous =x

    Just look at how many modifications were available for past versions. 3.x will get there someday. :)
