Adsense special ADS 125x125: what are they?

    Okay here's a noob question. if you visit for example. http://mashable.com/ and look at the sidebar

    you can see they have a 125x125 section of google ads in place. Now I was wonderin how would a publisher get it? and when you hover the mouse to the picture is renders (googleads.doubleclick.net) just like adsense.. but in fact, it isn't

    So how would you set-up those type of "special" ADS in Google programmes?

    a tutorial link will do :)

    It's not google affiliate network right?

    thank you, I visited it now. And i can't understand how it works. I mean I already made the banner.

    but on this case, I will not copy paste any code? (After making the banner, I can't see any code like the normal adsense)

    how do you implement this on your site?

    What ad are you referring to ? please take a screenshot, there is way too much advertising on that site for me to even bother looking through..

    They are just 125x125 image banner ads. Note that Mashable is a premium Adsense publisher and they get extra benefits from Google.

    Its just Google Ad Manager and you dont have to be a Premium Publisher to do that

    adsense don't provide the ads of that size.

    You can also note that techcrunch and masable have two adsense ads on the rss feed.
