Press releases are very easy to create with a date of the release, a headline, body copy, and a brief company description. Online releases include the same information with a link back to your website or service. For better traffic and ranking the challenge is creating a release that's newsworthy and gets attention. We can find hundreds of online press release websites have come online, helping people to go through these notifications and find the information they need. But how many of us utilize this in the right way? What does this mean to internet marketing? It means that there are sites that publish your news and are viewed by tens of thousands of people seeking targeted information daily. This is good news for anyone trying to promote a new product, service, website or blog. But what do you think to make a press release attractive to search engines? how do you can make it easily noticeable? Is it all about writing a fantastic release and having it distributed across the web? Just that? I think when using press releases for SEO value, the key is simply to write a good release that helps build back links to your website or blog. Hi, Its really a good question you had got.The way you had expressed your concern just replicates the command you are having in internet marketing.First basic thing while doing the press release is to have good headline followed by good structure of your content and as well as the targeted keyword for your website and giving links of your site. While doing press release most of us do it keeping in mind about the search engine.
Press release helps to gain more traffic to the site and your sites web presence will be increased by writing press releases.
I beg to differ, one of my press releases has a PR 3 and links directly back to my site. Check it out Victoria BC Tourism.
Yeah. he is correct. Some valuable press releases themselves get ranked and give great support to the sites more than traffic..
Most of the press release sites provide an option to put two - three links to your home page. But some services may charge a bit. But its worth. See this press release I could give two links back to my home page.. http://www.prlog.org/10408095-online-business-directory-free-submissions-from-newgenre.html

My personal thought for press release is it only helps gain traffic and just a little for ranking. You need to have more backlinks to top in serps and some press release sites wont allow you to put links.
On prlog.org if you write an article in excess of 250 words you can put your URL at the end of it and it will automatically become a hyperlink when you post the article. The longer your article, the more links you can insert (keep in mind spam=death). Refer to prlog's guidelines, it is all spelled out there.
NO no. PRs are very important for link building too. If you have submitted some press releases check your indexed pages. Yeah, the url is automatically change into a hyperlink
