Hi am having the following problem, I had 10 backlinks before and i was getting couple of keywords on #1 Now i have around 600 backlinks and am getting #4-and up. whats wrong am targeting long tail keywords. My site gets around 200 new post , and 30 topics daily. Am working really hard on my seo, but i think is not really my fault is the phpbb forum that am using while 90% of my competition use VB. This is my Sources
Hmm i have same problem,i added three sitewide links over weekend(pr3,pr2 and pr2)and i dropped for two positions. And i don't think competition got any new links. But i did notice different description when i type targeted keyword in google.
This can happen from time to time when you get a whole bunch of links at one time, My advice is to slow down a little and give the others some time kick to in. Rankings should be stable again in a couple of weeks.
Okay but is not my faulth is my feeds, they generated to many back links in one day. I when from 10 ==> 200 then to 500====> 600 .
Well more backlinks do not necessarily guantee good rankings, and still it takes some time for the backlinks to effect, so you have to wait about a week, if your rankings still not good, simply add more quality backlinks.
Yes I think its s a sort of sandbox effect. I call it the google bounce - you go high in serps for an initial short period and then you drop. However you do get back eventually
its all about the quality of the links and what your compeitition is seen as doing to be boosted up or down.
Not all backlinks are created equal... but in my experience backlinks are king when it comes to ranking. A few high pr links or a ton of low pr links and you will affect your rank in a positive way and sometimes google will even update in hours and days if you generate the links quick enough. Cheers AZB
If you concentrate on creating good anchor back links then your search engine ranking also will be in a better position. Thanks
Changing site title or making other changes can result in drop of ranking in SERPs. Normally, the site will get back its ranking after sometime.
It usually happens. Google dance or something it is called. Normally the effect of your links are not shown for a few months. Google supposedly gives a time period for links to be counted. A somewhat effective strategy for fighting link renting
sounds like you're gaining these backlinks in a way that Google is seeing as "spammy" rather than natural.
You may have lots of back links but now google giving -ve for some kind of back links. Check google's blog to know more about this.
