I'm so sorry to hear that, the community weeps due to the loss of you Dan Schulz. You were a valued member & we will always miss you.
Rest In Peace, Dan. May God forgive you and purified your soul. Death is just the road to an awe... . .
RIP DAN. As far as im aware, I dont know you or havnt read any if your posts, But as its such a big place here, Its possible Ive read a few of your posts, and they may have been a help to me, or maybe I even helped you. Either way, If we did. Thanks and RIP
I just read about Rob Enke's death ( Germany's goalkeeper), and came here to discover this. While I do not know Dan personally, his posts and contribution to the community were second to none. One of our finest members indeed. RIP Dan.
That's also a good one. However the one I'm talking about, he had in his signature here. This one: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=223056#post2145250 Could be condensed into a How-to instead of a slightly messy thread, but it's one I end sending to people asking the same question, or say to them: go to the link in Dan's sig. He may have something similar at SP, I dunno.
This is quite sad. He was very young. I know his mum passed away very recently but did not know he was so ill. His posts were always informative both here and on SP. I know I had directed many to his post on How to SEO a site. I also knew that if anyone had a question and he answered in that thread, his would be the best and most comprehensive answer. This is a sad loss for the webmaster community in general. He was one of my top 2 members here on DP. May he Rest in Peace. My thanks to you Buffalo as well for informing us.
From what I understand vB4.0 may have a feature where good threads can be turned into articles. I'm sure several of Dan's threads will be worthy.
