Hi, I am looking looking for peoples experiences of sandboxing, for example how long a site takes to be sandboxed and come out of the sandbox. Does anyone work to general time lines. I had one site (http://www.oakdiningroomfurniture.co.uk) which was sandboxed within two weeks whilst I have other sites which after four weeks still haven't been sandboxed.
My site moneyzone posted in my signature was created over a week ago and I submitted it to many social bookmarking sites it was indexed, pinged everything and it's still not showing up on google!
Correct me if i'm wrong, but it will typically take a few weeks before your results show up in the serps?

I have a site that is being sand boxed everytime google updates PR and I think it's natural. It took 3-4 weeks before getting back.
I have repeatedly experienced that sites will rank in the top 20 within three weeks when I first submit a sitemap through Google Webmaster Tools and the site gets a link. I said gets A link not 10 or 20. The link usually from a well indexed page. Has anyone seen this: I've noticed that a new site submitted in WMT and that gets links quickly will shoot up in the SERPs, kind of like a bounce, and then drop back down a little after several days and settle into that position. Anyone else seen this?
My site was ranked very well although it has been online 2 months. But then it disappeared 2 times. I am not sure if the sandbox exists. I hope no.
everyone has different experience about how long the got sandbox. But if you can backlink bilding again, and then reconsider your site, you will get quickly
Google has revised its indexing algos and now a days sites are being crawled in less time then ever. A few basic points which i believe really help in improving your crawl rate are as below. Website Code well properly optimized. Content well optimized, including keywords which have hot trends Canonical Tag for Links (as per latest algo) Website Load Time, well properly optimized. Try to Add fresh content to the site in different intervals. I hope most of my friends over here are well aware of these things. But third and fourth point in this list are the points which Google is caring more, in its algorithm.
One of my blog which was sandboxed for building links too much went from 5 to 720 and after 4 months it came back again. I really hate the word Sandboxed
Well We were started a blog on tech, At that time we don't know about sandbox becuase we were new at that time so we were created lot of backlink in few days (20-30),,,and suddenly our search engine traffic effected, we were getting good traffic from google before created lot of backlink so we asked to our other friends ..so they just said that your blog is sandbox now so remove all of link that you have created in few days....so we were removed all backlinks of tech blog...
Sophie, I'm curious what you base your statements on, regarding Googles algorithm. The algos are probably a more closely guarded secret than the nuclear codes in the Kremlin. Are you simply referring to press statements from Google representatives regarding tips on what they look at?
Guys, from what you know ... a new website can go directly TO sandbox ? I have a website that i'm trying to index for about 2 days , and nothing. Posted on digg, stumbleupon, nothing ... i'm really confused.
Yeah if your domain newly registered.. Well if your site/blog is newly created then promote it slowly slowly .. ..yeah i mean don't build lot of links in few days.
I've never experienced it going directly to Sandbox, but i can safely say that you will NOT see any serps within 2 days. At least, from past experience.
