    Hi guys,
Our website joined CJ advertiser 3 days ago. In the shreshold of advertising marketing, we have no idea to recruit most competitive publishers to our program.
Can you give us some tips to promote our website and ask more publishers to join in?
    Thanks!

When I started to make decent number of sales, many affiliate managers contacted me. So I expect there are some tools to see which affiliates are most successful in CJ.

    Hi Garry,

I specialize in affiliate recruiting and promotion, so will try to answer some of your questions.

Just by virtue of being on CJ you have exposure to lots of affiliates but it can take awhile to get them to join, if you don't do any proactive recruiting. Plus just so you are aware 95% of the affiliates that join will probably not be active. So you always have to be working on recruiting more affiliates and getting them activated.

There are 4 primary methods of affiliate recruiting.

    1) Affiliate Directory submissions. (Directories don't pull as well as they used to.)

    2) Some affiliate forums, including Digital Point and my 5 Star affiliate forum allow new affiliate program announcements. Other affiliate forums do too, you just need to find them, read the rules to see if they allow and what other requirements there are. Some you have to have X number of posts before you can advertise, etc.

    3) Email recruiting - very tricky and many affiliates consider it spam so you really have to know how to do it right. (I don't do any email recruiting, so can't really give you any tips, I use some other methods.)

    4) Via CJ I there are probably a couple different avenues for recruiting that are an additional fee. You'd need to ask your account manager for specifics, I don't know how expensive it is.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

    Thanks for your post!
I will have a in-depth view of your site.
By the way, do you think we need to focus on publisher recruiting at this moment? Or any better good ideas to bring more buyers come to our website?
We noticed that the total click amount brought by CJ is far below than we expected.
    Thanks!

I'm a CJ publisher and I get the occasional email telling me that
my sites would be a good fit for their products/services.

I do not know how they get the email address but I do read them
and if it looks like there might be something there I take a peek.

I also have responded asking how they see me as a good fit
    and received some good advice.

I believe that if you offer the publishers something that may make
them money and you make it easy for those publishers, you'll get
    them to advertise your products.

Humm...There might be some tools to find publishers in account settings..That's the most important thing I need to figure out.
By now, I am a bit clueless to attractivate more publishers to join in...

In #4 I mentioned CJ recruiting tools. One of those is you can do an email blast to certain affiliates.
You can target affiliates based on different qualifications.

You said you only launched a few days ago. It takes 3 months to get an affiliate program totally off the ground. It's not instant results.

It can take good affiliates a couple months to even get around to joining your program. Good affiliates are really busy with merchants they are already partnered with. This time of year they're at their busiest time of the year and you'll have a hard time even getting their attention until the Holidays are over.

It takes a few months for the working affiliates to join your program. They are waiting for you to prove yourself as a site that actually sells, as a site that stays for the long run.

Wait 1-2 more months before you go ahead with major recruiting endeavors.
