Hi John, how have you been mate?

LOL..it's a little disjointed with people not reading any of the past posts. It would be better if I could update the title ;)

lol no, just a little tongue n cheek

I keep messing with him and telling him he's going to have to start paying his mom and myself an ALLOWANCE!

Thanks for posting up and best of luck with your exam Hecky!

We got him started a few weeks ago. If you read back a few pages you'll see the updates I've been posting in the thread ;)

    Latest update:

Well, I'm glad to say he's still rocking! He continues to blow our minds with his determination and the high levels of responsibilty he's been showing of himself. My wife overheard him on the phone yesterday telling a friend all about his new "Internet business" lol.

I feel like the editors at Associated Content have really taken to his particular style of writing because even at a relatively low "clout level 4" he was already offered one of the $20 partner call assignments. They requested that he write a 400 word "first person" perspective article on the current state of the economy.

I spent tonight helping him to collect some research material and he will write the article tomorrow after he finishes his homework.

Besides the partner call assignment, he continues to submit between 8-12 articles a day. We haven't added up a running total of his earnings, but it's still approx. $30-$45 a day at this point.

    I'll update again soon!

    Regards,

    Duc

This is awesome to see how well he's doing. I think it's wonderful you have given him the oppurtunity Ducati1198.
I also submit articles to Associated Content and wish you both the best for continued success!

Nah dont let him, Just let him sell drugs, Pfft TBH, whats the point of this question?

If your on this forum then you obviuosly know of the capabilites of earning online.

So why would you even ask? Thats like you knowing being a lawyer is a super high payed job, your son asks to be one, And you think, "Hmm should I let him be a lawyer, he is going to be exposed to a very high pay rate, and possible Oak varnished wood from the desks"

I give up tbh, And to the one of the previuos posters above, I saw about leaving school, If I had a son, and he asked me seriuosly about leaving school to work online, Id say go for it. But That is only because I know the capabilites.

Also whilst editing, I managed to read your Sig Ducati, It includes "$100-$200 per day everyday"

I just dont understand how some peoples mind works, Specifically yours.

Sorry for the agression here, I just truly dont get it.

    Thanks

Ahh, Another RE-EDIT, I just read the above post, and I see that your son is working online, and its going successfully, My whole question above was posted for your Page #1 Comment #1 Question

And it does still apply too.

    Thanks

    Thanks Gwen ;)

Thanks for your input in that thread in the Copywriting section as well. You rock!

I'll update again when he gets his next round of submissions reviewed.

    Cheers

lol I think you should, you sound rather jaded my friend ;)

I wasn't asking for affirmation, I was wondering others opinions.

    There's a big difference

You would get it if you had read the thread ;)

The method/company I work with in my sig doesn't allow people under the age of 18 to submit articles. My wife and I decided to let him use my wifes account to submit his work to. I already talked about that earlier within the thread.

Do you get it now?

    Thanks

What a silly post this is. You should probably do more reading before you post in the future

How's he doing Ducati1198? I'm looking forward to your next update!

You should just let him do Amazon Mechanical Turk. It will keep him busy and he'll earn some cents.

You see, stuff like this is why I called you out earlier and it reinforces my opinion that this thread is just very creative spam for you to get sig views.

A 14yo is not doing 8-12 articles per day. Everyone following this thread just needs to do the math.

Even at 30 minutes per article from preperation to end, that's 4 hours to write eight and 6 hours a day to write twelve of them.

I'm sure you'll come back and say he is a whiz kid who does them in 10 minutes each. That he doesn't need to resarch or write a draft. He can just sit down and blow through an article in 10 minutes. Yeah, right. An adult highly educated on a topic may have issues getting done in 10 minutes.

But this is what really caught my eye. You slipped up here. It was bound to happen.....

    And from another post...
Interesting how they can take a liking to his writing style on your wife's "clout level 4" account. Oh, but let me guess..... she never really used the account. Busssssssted.

@ RubaDubDubintheTub - lol you're not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed are you? AC's minimum word count is 350 words since mid October. If you can't produce 8-12 350 word articles within 4-5 hours then perhaps you should get in contact with my son and he can give you some coaching ;) There's no 'researching" involved when writing for AC.

Here's where your ignorance continues regarding his current clout level, My wifes account had a grand total of 3 articles submitted to it and was a clout 1 when we gave it to my son. She hadn't been using the account at all obviously. If your feeling is that 150+ published articles with AC can't bring the account to a clout 4 (which is now at a clout 5 btw), then you should probably get to know their PPV's better before making clueless posts. ;)

    To John,

I'm doing well mate, how are you?

He keeps plugging along. He thinks he's getting a sports car when he turns 16 lol. Needless to say, Kristy and I set him straight on that one right off the bat ;)

Sorry to hear about your dad btw, feel free to PM me if you want to talk about it. I just lost my dad in January myself.

    Regards,

    Duc

Don't worry about DUB, he is already in the TUB.

About my dad, I'm really ok about it. I lost him while I was quite young, 15 years back to be exact. Sorry to hear about you father though, I'm sure he was a wonderful father as I see you to be.

Well its a good thing you straightened him out on the car thing. I remember my saying "If you wanna hand your son a death certificate, give him a driving permit at the age of 16." lol.

But your kid got ambition. I like that. It will take him a Long way :)

I guesstimated 4-6 hours for him to write that many, so not far off from your stated 4-5 hours.

I just find it hard to believe that a 14yo is spending 4-5 hours a day writing articles. The claim, to me anyway, is ridiculous. Factoring in school and writing, that leaves like 3 hours a day for himself (and that's assuming there are no school activities).

A kid from the age of 9 to 16 is always keen on getting money, it makes him happy and rich until the age of 18 when it starts getting to be a necessity to earn money. So if you give the kid a reason to earn money, he will for sure be spending time on the money making opportunity. I Don't know about you, but i know I did and so did 95 % of the other normal kids :)
