Keywords entering my site...?

I didn't really know what to title this....

    Anywho,

I search 'Borderlands basic tips guide' in Google and can only find forum posts that are titled that which link to my site, and cannot find my site.

Yet people are coming to my site searching '42 bag slots' which is a tiny phrase in one of my posts, and does not expand on anything.

Why are all the linked sites being shown before my own?
Would google not think that all those sites linking to my article would mean that the article should be listed earlier?

Is it because my site is not as popular?

    Thanks

    P.S
The site is the one in my sig.

In essence, yes - basically the sites/forums that are appearing higher have more backlinks than you. Also they are older, your blog has been up for less than a month I think.
The links from those forums are helping you to build up backlinks, but from a forum that allows a lot of linking out, the links aren't worth very much, whereas those forums have themselves got older, better and more backlinks.

I may get some flack for this but I have found blogspot only good to promote my sites from and not for use for a main site. I would wager that if a blogspot site is listed as the top in the SERPs (something I have never seen before after many years) then it would be fairly easy to beat it out of it's position.
You have to remember that you do not own the site you have on blogspot, they own it.

If at all possible I would set up a wordpress install with my own domain.
Then build backlinks from sites other than just forums.

That is exactly what I am planning to do. Someone has bought a private ad on my site so I will be moving to a .com domain hopefully soon.
