http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/11/09/politics/politicalhotsheet/entry5591897.shtml This is awesome news. Hopefully all the kooks that the Republicans can normally get to vote for them are gonna split their votes with the Tea party in Florida and we're gonna snag those 27 electoral votes. Basically a replay of NY 23. Republicans, stand up and be proud, this is your base we're talking about here
You know... if Obama were really clever he would somehow secretly fund this tea party nonsense. It's the path to expanded Democratic power in 2010 so he can really push his agenda forward.
All these guys need is for Sarah Palin to endorse them on Facebook and they are SET! There are a lot of small parties in Florida so Sarah would put them over the top!
In the UK sarah palin is the butt of our jokes and you can understand why since some of the stuff she says makes no sense.
She is the butt of jokes here in the US too. Unfortunately there is a portion of our country that is so stupid that they actually take her seriously. Fortunately, I'm pretty damn sure it's not a large enough portion to get her elected President.
Yay, a tea party and a green party, we've got a place for nearly everyone now. ...and if the UK is following Sarah Palin closely enough to be the "butt" of your jokes, you guys should get out more. But I guess it's temping with all the dumb things our politicians say making it impassable quality entertainment. I mean Gore started the internet and then there's the amazing things Biden has said, the guy who doesn't know his "web site number". Here's another funny (OF MANY) Biden quotes: In interview with CBS News, September 2008. However, Roosevelt wasn't president in 1929 and televisions were still experimental. Or there's: While I think you can find dumb quotes from most politicians, Biden might just be the king: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3q1z532U7hE
LOL people would make up any party just to sit in office. In Israel they have for many years "The Men's rights in the family party", to stand by men who are beaten/abused/tricked by their wives
Every politician has slipped up and said a few things that don't make all of that much sense. Consider how much politicians speak and how they are being recorded all of the time. The difference with Palin is that she's actually stupid. It's not that she just occasionally slips up and says something silly, she's really a moron. It's a completely different situation than those Biden quotes and it's quite dishonest to compare the two.
Agreed, some more than others, some comments extremely stupid reflecting wrong thinking of facts, some just wrongly used words. Oh I see. One person can say dumb stuff against the facts and it's because they're stupid. Another says dumb stuff against known facts and it's only slip ups. hmmm, might this be related to which one is in your party and which one isn't Mr. Biased Zibblu? I don't blame you, we can't expect you to step back and see that. How could we expect anyone form the far left or right so extremely biased to step back and ever reconsider anything. Having a mind tuned only to the frequency of your party is an amazing and often sad thing to see in people.
Nobody is buying it. If you can't tell that Sarah Palin is an idiot, then you need to look in the mirror and start asking some questions about yourself.
I don't think it's a question as to whether or not VP Biden is a gafmaster, rather a question of intelligence and competence. Gaffs or not, Biden is a 35 year veteran politician with knowledge and experience. Obama picked him because of that knowledge and specifically, because of his foreign relations credentials. He also served as chairman of the Senate judiciary committee. Republicans and conservatives always make the mistake of trying to defend Palin with a comparison to Biden because he's gaff prone. But if we're laying all the cards on the table and being honest you know there really is no comparison. Because Biden's intelligence is a LOT more defensible than Palin's. So you might want to find a different argument... Sure you all have a valid argument to make that she's not the only politician that makes mistakes, not dismissing that -- but at some point you're going to realize that saying "look at everybody else" doesn't make her look more intelligent, it's merely admitting she's just as stupid as the stupid people.
I'm saying they're all idiots (FYI), not that Sarah Palin is smart. Turn the lights on Zibblu, you're in the dark.
