ArticleRanks Review - Awesome 1-Way Linking System!

Interested in subscribing to this but I am sure the price was originally alot less than $39 per month - Has is gone up recently?

 

digiboyz can confirm but I think the price went up at the beginning of this month. It was mentioned somewhere on the forum - perhaps on this thread somewhere.

Yes the price is now $39 per month, we had a winter special on for new accounts for a couple of weeks which has now ended

$39 is hardly an earth shattering amount but it would be coming out of my pocket as I wanted to show my boss how well it would work with our client base before I got him to pay the monthly subscription

 

It is really worth the $39. The system is amazingly easy to use. The only gripe I have is that it uses [ instead of { for spinning. So now I have to create standard spinner syntax that EVERY OTHER TOOL I HAVE (about 20) uses, with the { and }. And then for no reason I can tell I have to do a replace all on { to [ and } to ] so I can use it in ArticleRanks. Would be nice if they just supported standard syntax like everyone else.

Not a huge gripe, just a small annoyance. Other than that though, I love the system and use it every day.

We do use { } but [ ] is for deeper spinning, for example

{sentence 1~alternative sentence 1~alternative [sentence|paragraph] 1}.

 

This service apparently doesn't work with Blogger.com sites, so my blogs cannot receive any content. Very disappointing.

The spin feature is also a little different than I would hope for, I like the way it allows someone without spin software to use there own spinning stuff. I really think that there is no need for the different spin characters though.

The software I use only uses {|} and it will do multiple nested loops.

I have also not actually sent anything to article ranks because I would have to rewrite all my spun articles.

That being said it does look very nice, easy to use and I would have to say that it should help a persons seo efforts.

 

Its still worth it. And it only takes me about 5 minutes to prepare one of my other articles for Article Ranks. It would just be nice if it could support, maybe in some "legacy" mode, the standard syntax.

 

I think you are misunderstanding slightly

The standard syntax is {|} and we use {~}

All you would have to do is run a find and replace in notepad for | to ~

We do not use the standard syntax simply because so many spammy sites use it and we do not want people just copying and pasting articles that have been spun automatically that make no sense. So by using a slightly different approach a lot of spammers will be put off and not use AR which is great for us as we have less spammy articles to moderate.

The system does not allow blogger hosted sites and wordpress hosted sites simply because blogger and wordpress close accounts that receive auto content, it is against their terms and conditions.

In addition self hosted sites are much better because they are on multiple different C Class IPs

We accept the following
Self-hosted WordPress blogs (WordPress 2.0.x and later)
All Drupal sites (must have the Drupal XML-RPC API enabled)
All Joomla! sites (must have the Joomla! XML-RPC API enabled)
All sites containing either an XML-RPC API or an Atom API.

And any other system that has a remote publishing API

 

That makes sense. So instead of replacing the {} with [] like I have been doing. I can just replace the | with ~ and it will work the same.

No I get that, I can export with my program changing from a tilde~ to the pipe| the problems I had were going with the nested loops. I really spin the heck out of stuff and and up with somethings 3 or more levels deep. Thats really the only thing.

I just went through a month long test and am disappointed. It's a weak attempt and there are better alternatives. If you're interested in picking up a few spammy 0-PR links, then this is the fit - no chance of getting any quality links with Article Ranks. AR is a complete waste of time.

 

Mate I take it your a competitor or something? You have done 2 posts both trying to slate the system.. I cannot even find your username in the AR system.

Of course your links will be PR0 your creating a new post, new pages do not magically get PR instantly.

Who's worried about PR anyway when you see your SERPs increasing which is the main purpose of the service .

 

no, I'm not a competitor. I used it and do not see any value. really that's the extent of it. there were no increase in SERP's from AR...
