Hi everyone, I am very new in Google analytics, can anyone tell me the best feature in Google Analytics
you can view your site statistics, and the sources of your traffic. For example if your traffic comes from google it will list google as a source. If you have a post on a site such as mylot with your site URL and someone clicks, it will list Mylot as a source. Also, I am new to digital point. Could you pm me & tell me how to post forum threads? Im not sure how to.
i think google analytics is the best tool i have ever used. especially sense it is free. only wish it was up to the second info but hell its free nothing to complain about
There are so many best features in google analytics such as mobile website tracking, iphone and mobile app tracking, motion charts, e commerce tracking are some of the best features.
Google Analytic s is best way to get all information about your site's visitor's, business and from which country visitor or business comping.
The features I like about Google Analytics is that it shows the keywords data and landing page and exit page of visitors. This indeed is very useful info. Also, you can create custom segments in order to see very detailed reports about your traffic.
Google Analytics is a great tool to find out visitor statistics to your website. Basic information includes number daily visitors, how long they stay on your site, which pages they visit, where they are located globally, what internet browser they are using, most popular keywords used to find site etc. This last one is very useful as it allows you to see the best keywords people use to find your site, which can be used to improve SEO. My favourite tool is a pie chart showing referring sites such as my blog, other websites, ebay. Best thing is that google analytics is FREE! Hope this helps.
The best part about Google Analytics is the goal tracking. At the end of the day, you want people to come to your website and you want them to perform some action. They can register, login, signup for a newsletter, give you an email address, download a PDF file, etc. Goals allow you to track these things so you can know how well you are meeting the business requirements of your site. Put it another way, GA provides more capabilities than you are probably going to be able to digest. Goals cut through all that and get to the core of what you want your visitors to do. Once you've established goals, then you can segment things to see which slices of your audience perform better.
Since I'm working Adsense, I like how it helps me know the best keywords to optimize to increase earning.

Personally my best is the map overlay. This tells you exactly where your traffic is coming from (country & town)
It depends on what type of site you have. For almost every site, the ability to find traffic sources - keywords and phrases - is invaluable. For a site that sells goods, the conversion statistics offer a wealth of information. I remember having to pay dearly for such features.
