    My parents separated when I was 7 & I went with my dad (because I was very close to him), while my brother went with my mom (because he was very close to her). However, as much as I completely love my dad (he is perfection in all its grandeur to me, he died when I was 18), I cannot choose between both my parents because my mom, despite her flaws, is a good mother & always tries her best to provide us with our needs. She'll never be my dad (whom I was very close to & whom I loved so much), but she will always be my mother, & I love her too.

    Love...you are so deep ! I wish all men were as gentle and sentimental as you are ! I have always been closer to my mom...she is my best friend. My dad passed away when I was 15. I do love and miss him.
