Google Webmaster Central has removed the "Last High PageRank" Page from it. It is giving very less prominence to it and also don't want webmaster to think about it. Is it a Game by Google? What do you think about it?
It is important for them, but according to them it should not take importance for webmaster considerations
Page Rank means nothing when it comes to making money, focus on SERP(s), traffic and revenue. If you are number 1 for your targeted keyword, you will get the same traffic from that keyword whether your site was PR1 or PR 6. I have sites that are PR0 which get more unique visitors and earn more revenue than PR5 sites. The only time PR helped you, was when selling links was allowed, and you could rip people off by charging high monthly fees for links on high PR pages -- other than taking advantage of people who know nothing about SEO but have large wallets -- it is useless.
LOL, I guarantee you don't make more than a few hundred dollars per day revenue. Enjoy wasting your time chasing the magical green bar.
Page rank is important but only if your pagerank has been built up with the right keywords....Any idiot can build useless page rank with useless keywords.
don't PR and position in the search results somehow correlate? i mean, why should google waste time for calculting and updating PR, if it didn't matter at all?
I think it important for the present. But my advice is:don't take that too seriously. Concentrate on the website itself.
PR Is Just a number for me.. according to some its a plus point but i am happy with whatever PR I have doesnt matter much its same like alexa
PR will not give you money not unless you are after selling links. Its important of course since it state the credibility of your site but then again do not focus on this since traffic is the one that will give you revenue.
Seo agency uk answers this question, page rank is very important for sites' promotion http://www.bullseyemedia.co.uk/ The only thing is to understand completely how it works.
Nope, for the most part, it does not. I have PR0 sites that outrank PR7 sites on the SERP(s). PR has nothing to do with rankings and it has nothing to do with your traffic.
It is important to some. I follow it but don't get caught up in it. Backlinks are helpful and sometimes those backlinks lead to increased pagerank, but I don't spend a lot of time on looking for them. If I get a decent backlink then it's a plus, if not no big deal.
