What's a good way to make money online if you have little time

Well I'm a student and the majority of my tie is taken up by sutdying or homework. I was wondering though, what's a good way to make money in my spare time???

 

You will have to be more specific and let us know what skills you have. There really is no online equivalent to offline day labor. So we can't tell you to go rake digital leaves.

 

lol true, well during the summer I did a ton of writing and forum posting.... but I'm really looking for toehr thigns because those took a large amount of time. I can pick up on anything pretty fast...... so I'm open to trying new money making techniques.

 

It's the little time part that's going to get in the way. I'm really getting into niche AdSense site building but that takes a lot of time.

If you're good at writing and researching maybe you would do well selling your writing skills. A lot of us are always on the lookout for good authors to outsource articles and site content with. I don't know what the going rates are but you should be able to make $5/500 words (unique) or so depending how well it's written. I guess it depends on how fast you can crank the articles out. I'm way too slow to make it work.

 

Yeah I did that over the summer and made some pretty decent money, I'm honestly just looking for some cash to help me out wiht college

 

Well good luck. The problem is sorting through all the fluff and deception out here. I've been at it for years and every single thing I've made money with takes a lot of time and effort. Beware of all those affiliate links, some people will say almost anything to make a sale.

Hmmmm didn't really see much there about making money unless you ahve a website, still looking for suggestions!!!

 

It is recommended you sit back and think about what you really have passion for. Like good writers can make money writing articles for companies/individual. Have a niche for marketing perhaps you can start by selling other people product and so on.

 

Yeah but thats the thing, most people dont want one or two artices, most want like 20-30 at a time... I don't have time for that..... any oter suggestions?

 

You need to manage your time and spread the work done daily.
Not finding "get rich quick" scheme
Spend 1-2hrs a day doing these things..

1. Find a Niche of YOUR interest (1-2hrs)
2. Start a Blog, blogspot if you want it free, webhost wordpress blog if you don't mind paying (1-2hrs)
3. Monetize with Adsense and find other possible Ads income. (1-2hrs)
4. Do some simple SEO from wordpress plugins (1-2hrs)
5. Blog often with quality content not junks, research if required (1-2hrs) *Repeat*
6. Build backlinks by forum signatures, directory submission, article submission.. (1-2hr) *Repeat*
7. Spread your blog across social bookmarking sites, Digg, Twitter, MySpace, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Delicious (1-2hrs)

Much more can be done..
It's not about finding the shortcut, it's about building your asset online.
Do those things 1-2hrs a day, won't take up too much of your time if you manage well.
You might not earn the next day or even the next month.
What you are looking for is residual income from this asset in a few months.
Once it gets stable, duplicate, outsource, multiply.

 

I want everyone to know, I'm not looking for a get rich quick scheme, as I said earlier I'm simply looking for some extra cash for when I go away to college, I already ran a website and know well enough what it takes to make it worth soemthing, and I didn't have enough time to do it, I'm talking like max 5 hours a week I have to work.......

 

I would say your best bet is to setup 4-5 niche blogs... just small ones that pre-sell some affiliate products.

Then you can spend like 1-2 hours a week trying to drive traffic to them. You can do yahoo answers, article marketing, and social networking/bookmarking.

You should try sell some product that is a necessity for student such as stationary or high tech product.
Or help your friend to buy thing online from ebay then charge them commission.

Apart from that, freelancing is also cool.

 

Try selling something on Ebay. It's free and easy.

 

I would create info products.
