Twitter is now worth several million dollars. I know most of the social networking main income source is from ads but I don't see any ads in Twitter so from where they are making millions.
You see Twitter doesn't make money from banner ads, i hope you have seen many twitter applications, these application developers or owners advertise on Twitter on its sidebar and that to its just ads.

Every networking site first creates its impression in the market.. once it got popular they will start charging money for ads.. I guess twitter is very popular now and soon they will srart banner or PPC ads..
Wow.. Its totally sad that twitter is not making any money at all considering the amount of traffic that they get and stuff. I dont even get as much traffic and i am already making money
I think they are just going to build up traffic like they have been doing (crazy numbers) haha, and then they will start putting ad's on and stuff and look for other investors as a way to make money. They don't need to advertise any more thats for sure though.
What a company like that is "worth" isn't necessarily related to its income at all. When Microsoft paid $400,000,000 for Hotmail, Hotmail had very little real income. Amazon didn't make any profits at all in their first decade.
