How to AVOID the Sandbox!

Yes, there is a simple way to avoid the sandbox. Buy a domain that has not been punished and has been used for similar content before. How to do it?

    1. Look through sedo.com and similar services to find previously used domains. Be careful with parking services who spam their domains with various unrelated content etc.

    2. Check archive.org to make sure content is about the same as you plan to use. It should be related. You might also find out if the domain have been used for spamming by domain parking services. If you do find spam in history, pick another domain.

    3. Check in Google to make sure Google already indexed it and that it's not blocked. You might find out if it's been spammed here too.

    4. When adding content and backlinks, start slowly and increase volume slowly. If everything seems fine(Google index it properly etc.) after 2-3 months you could probably go full volume.

    That's it! Good Luck!

If anyone have success with my advice, please let me know! :)

Dont forget this....CREATE ORIGINAL CONTENT! Don't copy someone elses stuff, keep it authentic. Google sniffs that mess out quickly (thankfully), I wish the blackhats would just disappear off of the face of the earth. Why do they think that someone who kills himself to make a living online is not going to find out if someone is mooching his content?? People really get to me sometimes  ....

I wouldn't worry about the sandbox. It's only temporary and you often come out of it even stronger than before if you keep building quality backlinks.

Just create a good solid site which is beneficial to its users and you will be fine. As mentioned above, it seems to be only spammy type sites which get hit with this problem or sites with dupe content but then again why should they rank well anyway.

#4 is probably what got me into the sandbox for all my sites. The first week I had my sites, I just went crazy and got them all 700 backlinks each. That was probably my problem, but I got out of the sandbox in only 1/2 to 1 month. Thanks for the tips, now I can avoid it in the future with new sites I create! :)

Sounds like you're correct. Need to be extra careful with new sites.

I believe that in order to avoid the sandbox or at the very least diminish the time spent in the sinbin, you should get your domain setup and put up a static page and get one or two links to it, then focus on building your site. I'm of the mind that google doesn't rank the age of your site, but rather the age of your backlinks. Assuming you're going for a quality site (god only knows there are enough that aren't) it should take you a few months to have a polished site, all the while, your backlinks are gaining age as is your site. You see far too often that people spend months and month building their site, then in a massive and aggressive swoop, they build links out the wazzooo and then you get hit with a penalty. Google is smart and they notice patterns (what else do they have), and when you break those patterns grossly, you're asking for a slap a la Sanbox.

I would have to agree with Serpico on this one. I wouldn't even worry about the sandbox, just kep updating your site with unique and helpful content and work on building links. If your actively marketing your site the sadbox shouldn't even be a problem for you.

Will Google get mad if I use an automatic RSS feed at my forum? Currently I have a bot feed out and article from different video game site every 12 hr. It has a link to the site and everything so I figure this would be alright?

Don't just think you have got into sand box only for the reason that you dropped in keyword positions. I think you don't need to fear about Sand Box effect. Every thing will beset right if you can properly engage on SEO again.

Good to hear this from you. However, be careful as you are using term "Google" in your keywords.
