So I am presently planning on using this for my new product. I'll let you know how it works. Also if you are going to put a RAD link in your signature it should work.
Hey infomarker50! I wish you the best of success! One question though... "RAD link", what do you mean? Be Well! ECS Dave
One year ago (approximately), Sid Hale released his Rapid Action Profits system... A lot has happened in that time. A myriad of improvements and a customer forum too! Watch a video that details some of what RAP does: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BM1BVa-kups Be Well! ECS Dave
I don't think so, as it was a "promo" related to the anniversary... However, there is an option that you are welcome, and encouraged to look into here: Rapid Action Profits blog post, on the 3 payment option... Be Well! ECS Dave
Rapid Action Profits 3.1 has just been released, and you can now, get the $50 discount! Hi, can I see an example of someone who is already using Rapid Action? Is there a way to protect one self from credit card transactions that turn out to be stolen? If I use your product and instant payouts are made, and then later on I am notified that some of the transactions were invalid, I could lose a chunk of money. It would mean I sent out a product that was not paid for, and I paid out a commission to another blog owner as well. Otherwise, I really like the concept of what Rapid Action is doing.
Actually, Paypal handles the credit card transactions, and depending on what it is that you are selling, there usually isn't a problem with stolen credit cards. If you are selling something that "appeals" to the crowd that does that kind of thing, you might want to reconsider your market... As for the paying out of commissions, you aren't actually paying them out, the customer is. Of course, on return from paypal, it is your product being delivered to that customer, who was driven to your sales page by the affiliate. Many Rapid Action Profits users have, on their affiliate tools pages, terms that require their affiliates to honor the refund requests (if any) of the customers that purchase through the affiliate's link. If you have any other concerns, please do let me know... Be Well! ECS Dave P.S. If you look at my blog, at Rapid Action Profits Delivers, there's a fair amount of info there... P.P.S. There's also a product there being sold via RAP...
I don't quite understand how I could be selling a product of ill repute if someone with a stolen credit card wants to buy it. That's like saying anybody who is robbed was asking for it. I specifically want to sell my own products because I want to sell made in america products, in america, rather than worry they were made elsewhere with child labor for a few cents, and then marked up a ton so some banksters can make all the money. My concern is if an order comes in and I fulfill it, and then later on it is deemed an invalid transaction, not only do I lose the product I shipped out, but the blog owner who placed my ad on their site might not want to give back their commission. But what I really care about more is seeing how others are using the software. I have no agenda other than to know the software is already being used by others.
Are you selling physical products? Rapid Action Profits does that too, with optional add-ons... Also, I wasn't saying you were selling, or wanted to sell, a product of "ill repute", what I was saying is that if you were concerned that a good many of your potential customers might be ones who steal credit cards, then that might be a problem. Try as ANY marketer will, LOSS is a fact of business. With probably any commerce solution, be it online or offline, LOSS happens. If you dwell too much on that aspect, you may find that you're making things too hard for the honest customers you want to have. You can only put in so many "safeguards", to the point where it isn't worth your time, or your customer's time to try to do business, unless you're selling access to the "Garden of Eden" perhaps? There is an add-on that enables a user of Rapid Action Profits to use the Mass Pay function of Paypal, after a certain "guarantee" period has passed, if you wish to put in a delay for paying affiliates. You also have the option of screening your affiliate partners, though both of these options do take some of the desired automation out of the process. If you like, I can name names of a few high profile, well known (more than me even), marketers who are using the Rapid Action Profits system/software to sell digital, and physical products, along with selling access to services... I'll close with this again, caution is a good thing, but temper it, else you may find instead of going forward, you'll find yourself going no where... Be Well! ECS Dave
I totally agree that one cannot worry about the bad eggs out there. My issue is my profit margin may not be that great and one bad egg could literally suck out the profit of the next 4-5 sales. I am leaning towards physical products such as books rather than electronic versions simply because I want the products to go to people who will value the product and refer to it from time to time, and books tend to be thought of in that way. I also am concerned that once I sell it digitally on the internet it will probably be copied over and over without payment. I guess I care about people making free copies because the information I am providing represents many years of experience and I just don't like the idea of people downloading it from a 'friend" for free. I suppose if there was an initital order of a thousand copies I might not care as much, but I do not see that kind of initial interest. I see more of a slow but steady interest, lol, very slow, but hopefully steady, so the book route seems like the direction I want to go in.
Far be it for me to advise you on your business strategy... Rapid Action Profits, along with the add-ons I mentioned that are available, allows a great deal of flexibility in what it appears that you wish to accomplish. You can indeed offer a physical product, and to add value, offer updates via a RAP-Powered membership site, which could add continuity for both your customer, and profits for you. While at the same time, along with RAP's download protection, you would be foiling some of the would-be digital thieves. Something to add to a downloadable version, in a preface/introduction type area, would/could be a strong warning against the would-be thieves, or those "sharing" your creation, with an incentive added to those who might report such actions... A one time offer, part of the "core" of Rapid Action Profits, could be used to either offer a downloadable version of your product, or be used to offer the physical version, with the downloadable being your frontend, or initial offer. Obviously, I'm a happy RAP customer, or I wouldn't be using it, or promoting it as an affiliate. The ultimate, of course, decision, is yours to make... Be Well! ECS Dave
How easy is it to do the following. Create an ad for my book, then offer the ad to other blogs with the idea that anytime someone purchases the book the blog owner gets an instant transfer of wealth to their own paypal account? if the book sells for 15 bucks, and i want to offer the blog owner a 5 dollar commission on a sale, how difficult is it to set that up? Can I see any kind of an internet example of this type of offer using your product?
Creating an ad, and getting other folks to place it, is NOT something RAP does... That's something you have to do. Now what what Rapid Action Profits WILL do, is if you link these ads with the pertinent link code for each affiliate, it will process the sale(s) and pay each affiliate according to the commission structure you set up. RAP doesn't "split" a single payment, rather it divides by number of sales by each affiliate. For instance, if your commission rate is 33%, as you've suggested, the merchant always gets the first sale by any one affiliate, then the affiliate gets the next one. So, if one single affiliate drives 10 purchasers to your site, you would get 7 of the 10. A better example, if you were able to get a single affiliate to drive 100 purchasers, you get 67 payments, and the affiliate the remaining 33. All of the above, plus your secure download location (revealed only on payment confirmation from Paypal), is easily set up via an admin panel that is the "controls" of the Rapid Action Profits script. An example (a 50% setup), by a fellow RAP user, that just hit my inbox is here: http://scrnch.me/rcxb3 I provided you with another example earlier, indirectly, when I suggested you visit Rapid Action Profits Delivers... RAP is a great way for people just getting into affiliate marketing to see instant payments instead of waiting for a network like CB to payout. If you are a newbie nothing feels better or is more encouraging than seeing fast results for you efforts.
Wow, I wondered how you were able to do an actual split from each transaction. I have been frustrated for the past couple of years because I could not find anyone that would allow me to instantly split an actual transaction between the owner of the product and where the product is being advertised. Apparently, no one can split an actual transaction, but your method is probably the closest anyone has come to the concept I have been looking for. I really wish it could split each transaction because some blogs may only average a sale a week. I like what you've come up with, the instant payout is what I have been looking for, but why can't we just be able to have an instant split between the owner of the ad product and the blogs that run the ads, that's what I really want.
