Can anybody recommend the best shopping cart software ?

We are www.digizo.co.uk and we are now using oscommerce but we found out it is not seo friendly. Can anybody recommend seo friendly shopping cart.

oscommerce are seo friendly, but it still in alpha.

or you may try cubecart v.3, but it's paid version. seo friendly.

The best shopping cart in PHP opensource is Magento, Magento has many feature required in shopping site. During these days magento is much used site. Os commerce was very good shopping cart full filling the requirement of shopping site, but now a days magento is on top level.

 

You can make OsCommerce SEO friendly. I have given that solution to lot of my clients and they are happy with it. Another choice is Joomla's VirtueMart. It is very SEO Friendly as itself Joomla's structure is good and your pages will get indexed very quickly.

 

Zencart , Oscommerce are really good ones

 

I would suggest you use LiveCart coz it not only able to sell physical product but also support selling virtual item such as ebook.

 

Oscommerce and Magneto are best solution. Oscommerce is simple and Magneto have many cool features.

I've been really impressed with their support, answering my questions promptly and clearly.

The SEO side of things seems well covered.

Most of decent carts today are optimized for search engines. Overall, you should simply look for clean HTML/CSS code, customizable product and category URLs, TITLE and META tags, site map generation. As an idea, CS-Cart is completely SEO-friendly and we'd appreciate if you could consider us. And Shopping-cart-reviews.com is a good resource for comparison.

 

ZenCart is free. Interspire is nice, but costly.

Magento, hands down but its a tad tricky to sort out if your not an ecommerce guy. Next best bet is prestashop which is really easy to use.

I think zen cart is best for SEO purpose. It seems quite SEO friendly. Also do you mean SEO friendly means SEO friendly urls?
