SQL to Wordpress

    I have a database collection with file extension .sql.

    Is there a way i can import and push it to wordpress ?

    if you have phpmyadmin, you can try upload the ".sql" script by import database option.

    wordpress also have plugin for the same if you dont use phpadmin

    Hi All thanks for the comments.

    I have imported wordpress file like that but this is not a wordpress sql file.

    This is just a database i have of spyware names and definitions that i wish to insert into wordpress.

    u need to do some custom code script to import to wordpress because wp db structure is different and the data db is different

    Other way to do it is type:

    mysql < database.sql

    at your bash shell.

    he is not looking to import a database :rolleyes:

    he want to convert a db to wordpress db
