Hi, DP members: I come across a question that, whether pr affact the ranking of keywords in SERP, no i am run the replica bags shop, i wanna sell bags via internet, so i need good keywords ranking in google. But i don't konw whether i need get high pr first, i have hearded that google cancel the pr, Does it make sense to get high pr now, and how to get high keyword ranking? Thanks!
Getting high pr and keywords ranked are inter-twined and not distinguishable. If you have high PR, then your keywords are ranked well and vice-versa. It could be a catch-22 situation from your point of view.
Google's algorithm sees PR as some sort of a guide as to the web page's importance, it does not care about PR when rating web pages for rank in its SERP.
PR has very little or hardly anything to do with serp ranking. thats why you see PR 0 site outranking PR4 sites for a given term
Hi, sultanofseo and other valuable DP members, If the PR and keyword position are distinguish to achieve. I may ask a question how to improve your keyword ranking on SERP's and PR for a particular website. Thanks.
PageRank doesn't affect your rankings much. Usually, sites with higher rankings have a high PR since they have the quality inbound links to get them there.
Google did not cancel PR, and now Google is very careful to give PR, My site was pr3 now PR1... and Google remover PR from webmaster tool
From my experience my SERP does not change even I have 0 PR and PR2. It is backlinks all counts towards my SERP not PR.
