New Site. Ad Placement review please

I have just 'finished' work on my template for my new site:

Would love a review of ad integration and placement, not only on the front page but also on the content pages. Sadly there is not that much content at the moment, I plan to write more soon and hope that it grows.

Clean, good job, . I guess on the homepage and sub-index (list) page I'd drop or lighten the borders. Looks worse but lines stop the users' eyes from wandering over ads. On the article detail page the images by the ad in the center may be a violation of the program policies. I just launched the BETA of an adsense/content website publishing system with a similar template. Take a look. phpSimpleCMS.com I have similar stuff, just a slightly different take on it.

 

i must say you have done pretty good blending of adlinks, but the skyscraper is little out of place.

 

Thanks for your comments Guys, will try and play around with the skyscraper placement a little bit - probably after I've written more content! One step at a time and all that.

 

Agree. I think the link unit looks really good.
