Hi, my name is Mark and i can slice your PSD into w3c valid, clean, semantic, seo friendly, cross browser web pages.

Just about anyone can do what i said above with little to no training, but i am not just anyone. I spent 2 years of my webmaster life relying on other people to do my conversions for me and i dare say in those 2 years i was never fully satisfied with the results. That is when i decided to do these things myself, properly.

I have now been offering my PSD > XHTML for well over 12 months and will continue to do so for a long time.

Because of my history, i know what you are looking for in a PSD conversion. Here are just a FEW of the most important factors:

    * The final pages must look the same in ALL browsers with little to no hacks.

    * The final pages must be coded to follow strict guidelines set by the w3c.

    * You do NOT want a huge background exported and text coded over the top of it... each element should be seperate of all others and use small repeating images where possible.

    * Most if not all text areas and navigation buttons should STRETCH to accommodate extra text.

    * Clean, semantic, well commented and SEO friendly code. You should not have to go messing with the code, but if you do you want to know that everything is easy to understand.

    * Pixel perfection. If you give me a design you made in photoshop, you want the final web page to be IDENTICAL to the design you gave me down to the very last pixel.

There is a lot more, but i do not have the time to write it and you do not have the time to read it. Time is money.

Unlike some people on DP, i do not use photoshop to export HTML and then fix the mess photoshop makes myself. I do not even use the slice tool. To make sure everything is perfect down to the last pixel, i export each part of the image using the crop tool and hand code it from the ground up.

I am also from the UK, so English is not a problem at all.

I am through talking about myself now... its embarrassing. I will just show you a couple of examples and tell you my price.

    $12.50 for each page after.
Willing to discount on bulk orders.
Turnaround within 3 to 24 hours depending on my workload.

Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read my post, i know you will not regret it.

I look forward to working with each and every one of you.

    Mark,

I wanted to hire you after reading all the care you seem to give to the projects, but I see that the first two pages listed on your portfolio above do not validate and are completely off center on IE6 (?). Didn't check the others, though.

I have just checked and those problems arised after a few revisions i did for the client, i must not have rechecked everything. However, it's just a couple of images i forgot to put an alt tag on and the client did not require IE6 compatability. It would not take 5 minutes to fix though...

If the project you are working on requires full IE6 compatability that is absolutely fine, and i can guarantee everything will validate. The problems you see there arose when i did a few hurried revisions and i should have remembered to validate but obviously i didnt.

Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read my topic and point out those issues. It is greatly apreciated.

If you are still considering hiring me for your project, please contact me and i will offer you a large discount on the advertised rate.
