i work alone it can get pretty lonely lol, thats the only downside of working at home. you have about as much social interaction as roger moore.
I used to work alone but since I am going to college I have employed a couple Staff members which clients that I became good friends with and realized that I could trust.
Because this is website work mostly, working alone allows me to have full control over what I am doing. Sometimes much time is spent to communicate the logic of what you are doing to others and the more people you have, the more time you will need for them to understand it. People solve problems in different ways, and whatever tasks you give them, they are likely to do them the way they feel is right, no matter how many times they nod.
Working alone rightnow but thinking to hire 1-2 employee as planning to start a big project in near future. DON.
I work alone most of the time but sometime I have to outsource work to others. I find it effective to outsource a job to a personal specialized in it than to employ a guy and keep kicking him.
So true. Right now, I work alone, but I do outsource some of my design work (since I suck at it). I look forward to a period in the future when I could pay some friends to help out with my work, and to provide some more social interaction.
