Alexa Ranking Help

I am looking to improve the Alexa ranking on this site:
http://www.thatmall.com

I have added the Alexa ranking widget.
I use the Alexa toolbar.

Can anyone give me some addtional pointers.

I think that more traffic you get the higher the alexa ranking so my suggestion would be to keep working on SEO and other traffic techniques and as your traffic grows your alexa ranking will also grow.

Also, if you can make it to top of digg and other social networking sites then this will give you a sudden boost in traffic and automatically a sudden boost in alexa ranking.

Never concentrate on alexa rank, thats what I suggest you. My stats are completely messed up, one blog which has 200 unique visitors per day is losing its rank by 5,000 per day and other blog which has only 30 unique visitors per day is gaining rank by daily average of 2,000 up in the ranking, I dont understand why this is happening ??

 

Create content that people will return for and your Alexa rank will improve. Otherwise you will be just like a dog chasing its own tail for years on end...

 

you need UV's to your site and a lot of sites linking in

 

Add your site to major search engines, such Google, Bing, Yahoo and in social search enigne such as Mahalo, Sproose and ExploreWWW

who cares anymore about alexa, they made one mistake which turns up catastrofical, no one cares anymore about their ranks

alexa is not any certain fragment for rank but its mainly depend of traffic itself.

Our Alexa ranking has improved drastically. We are down to 69,823 Traffic Rank in US. It seems that we are getting lots of visitors by providing a combination of real time search results from twitter as well as organic search results contributed by our staff and users.

 

Alexa fluctuate too much sometimes, it's not very reliable.
