Seems like a stupid question doesnt it...who else should you pitch internet marketing products to? But seriously I have quite a nice list starting to pick up of internet marketers and at the moment they are just sitting there doing nothing, so I was thinking about making a course whereby at the end I pitch them to a Clickbank IM product of the moment. However wont they just swap their aff id in with mine at the point of sale making all of my efforts worthless? Any help from people who have sold to internet marketers would be greatly appreciated. Also whoever gives me the best idea I will let them pitch to my list (it is mid XXX and well targeted)
...the smart ones will do that... I would look at promoting internet marketing products to people looking for a job or source of secondary income. Any marketer with an IQ higher than 12 will use his own affiliate link.
If you are thinking of selling clickbank products as an affiliate to other affiliate marketers well then good luck. They would swap out your link with theirs. Its like in the old days of the california gold rush where some people got rich but most didn't. But the people who sold the shovels made steady money. So I liken the above paragraph to a bunch of shovel salesman trying to sell each other shovels. It just ain't gonna happen! So you would be better off creating a new product that other marketers would want to buy from you than selling them some elses product that they can just buy through their own link. Of course there is one solution I can think of to this and that is to tell them they have to buy through your link in order to get your bonus(s). This works well if you have a great bonus. Mike
The answer is NO. Not only will they use their own affiliate ID, but many of them will ask for a refund right away and then just rip off your product. Expect a very high refund rate for IM products.
Newbie marketers would buy through you, but anyone else would swap out their IDs or ignore the product altogether.
