Question for Twitter pro

Hi,

I fell that, the more followers I have, the more people are finding me on their own and adding me. (I do nothing about this...)

Or if I post more, the more people will add me?

Will there will be diference if I have 10 and 10 k followers, that new followers will find me on their own the same number? Or on 10 k followers account they would find me easier, if I do not use any personal promotiosn, adding new friends and do not do any posts with tags.

 

Both is true the more followers you have the more people will find and follow you, since your profile appears in all other profiles in the "is following" category.

And if you post relevant information with tags you will come up in tweets when people search for specific hash-tags.

 

ok, thank you mate. I saw this trend, but did not see what makes more people to find me when I have more followers. Yoiu answer is good.

in my experience, the more people you follow and interact with, the more will follow you back.
Also take advantage of the new twitter list, it's good to get listed as well.

So you offer to follow lists too or create some lists?

 

It is all very true. Another factor I would highlight is that the more followers you have the higher you are ranked in different searches and lists. First you will appear higher in the Twitter "Find People" section. Second lists like Twellow, Wefollow, ect. are also ranked by the number of followers.

So to put the factors on a list:

• The more you follow = more followers
• The more tweets = more followers (higher tweet exposure)
• The more followers = more followers (due to better ratings, more exposure on other profiles, and higher list rankings)

So being active and especially interactive willl create a chain-reaction what will quickly improve your number of followers.

i would rather recommend making lists with other people in it... then hopefully they return the favor

 

it will take lot of time put thousands of followers to any lists.
