You should complete faith in your religion. Otherwise there is no reason of having a religion. Having faith in your religion's scholars is one of the part. On the otherhand the scholars must have logical reasons to prove something. Other than that its useless.
A lot infact a hell lot because this one scholar has spread the real word of peace in almost 40 countries of the world and the main thing that he says to achieve the universal brotherhood is from the Qur'an "Come to common terms as between us and you" If we only follow that one line. We can achieve universal brotherhood
Good point. Literal interpretation of any religious source is a bad thing. Especially when it has 40+ different versions. And has never changed.
i voted other: combination of: -foreign policy (mainly the israeli /palestinian conflict where us mainly stand with israel in everything whether it's right or wrong) - Ignorance and illiteracy: ignorant muslim ones join this terroist organization thinking quran tells them to kill civilians . Quran doesn't say so -Poverty and spare time: ppl wanna end their lives anyway, so they think this is a way to end it and go to heaven - Tyrants ruling arabian countries : with no freedom of speech and much reprehension. ANd take these words froma muslim arab guy (40 diff. versions.. who said so,mister)
I also want to add a video of the saw cutting a hostages neck, on this url. Time to get some good references together.
I didn't vote; because I primarily think it's due to oil rich middle-eastern countries whom finance extreme teachings to youth and otherwise....there and abroad. I'm sure American/Israel involvement has some role...small in comparison. The other of coarse is that the muslim religion is hard to water-down since it's the 'word of god directly'. If I literally thought the Old testement was purely serious (which few people do), then I could own some slaves right now.
Spot on, the problem with any reliuous text is there's always some nutjob that will read into it what they want. This gives a good alternative view on the passages from the Koran that people normaly cite as being encouragement to terrorists. http://www.ahmad-world.com/me/debating-islam-good-or-bad/ I guess it show that if you want to twist words from the bible or the koran to suit your own ends then you're more than able to.
I know. Its a lot like the constitution that way. Reading stuff into it that was never intended to be put in there. People are so silly.
Yeah, the left-view on the second amendment and welfare as some how a legit part of the federal government.
Islam never speaks about killing christians or jews.. what it talks about is defence in the battle field. And the name that it gives to non-muslims is 'KAFIR'...which is a synonymous to non-muslim. defending one self is mentioned in each and every holy book.. right from hinduism where shri krishna in chapter 2 of bhagvat gita tells arjuna to fight against his own cousins.. its mentioned in the holy bible... and when christians implement it they call it "CRUSADE" which was an attach rather to be called a defensive action its mentioned in books of jews, sikh et al. Its better we read the holy books before pointing allegations against each other. as far as terrorism is considered, every religion forcefully reject it, right from the most ancient to the most recent i.e ISLAM.
I've told this to them above that you can not say anything about a religion or a holy book from media. They lie 50%.
Well since they hated us before we ever invaded (i.e. 9/11) I'd have to say Islam and the Quran only.
