    @seonovice -

    Hi, I know and i believe that you have the stuff in doing the SEO for the websites.

    But, I want you to stick on to your basics. Make sure that you have applied all the on page factors. check out for these too in the site.

    • text to code ratio
    • Distance of the content from the <head> tag in the HTML code
    • W3C validations
    • Broken links
    • Description tag - (General English phrases with keywords which has meaning)

    These are quite few which are very important to be taken care off ..... on these kind of issues.

    Note: Please check out the product/Service of the client. Because... the traffic may fall in some cases due to the Climatic conditions/market condition/geographical location)

    if as you say the website is ranking well but the number of visitors has decreased then i think you should go for on page SEO. Revise the content of the website, do some keyword research and target it properly (google standards)

    first check your website that there is some spamy links then remove those links. Make a fresh content and use good title and description and keywords . Then create site.xml and upload i think your problem will solve.

    My first thought was that with a 68% bounce rate you needed to improve the sites contact. However, this is for a dentist. Visitors are going to want 2 things - 1)what type of dentistry does he do, 2) contact information. This should be done on the front page. If done right, your client will get a lot of calls from the site but the site will also have a high bounce rate.

    Check with your client, is he(she) getting more leads from the site. If so, you did your job. If not review the site with the above in mind. If that is OK work on improving your SEO to get the right traffic to the site.
