Yes, THIS is exactly the crowd that WE are talking about. We have access to a lot more information than what you see on the surface. We do not ban simply because of IP matches. Ever. And people can, and do (constantly), contact the mods when they are banned without creating duplicate accounts.

Kudos Shawn! You saved me from a potential scammer as i was right in the middle of a deal with him. He has been lying his A** off since i first met him. I dont know where he gets the ideas to tell foolish lies and get caught. If i had gone ahead with the deal, i would have been in real trouble. God alone knows how many fake and hijacked accounts he has in paypal and moneybookers.

Hello People,

Since the topic is already being discussed in the open, I wish to present my case here.

I was banned for 3 months for 'duplicate account' and the punishment expired on 26th Oct.
Since then, I have been trying to know the details/reasons for my ban, having written to two mods and even to Shawn twice. The same is yet to see any positive feedback from them.
I can swear on my heart that I did not create a duplicate account and being a strong believer in good karma, always tried to and will always abide by the rules.

I always poured my heart out in my writings but since this incident, I am just not able to motivate myself to interact here anymore, even though I do come here everyday for a few minutes. The love for DP still lingers on in my heart...I guess.

I sincerely request the staff to please pm me the details as I honestly wish to introspect my alleged wrong doings... if not for anything, to at least safe-guard myself from 'it' in the future.

I specifically remember getting banned here for 6 months (or 3?) when I was newer (really), but I can't find it in my infractions. Did I imagine it? So freaky.. I swear it really did happen! LOL

But anyway, my point is, just wait out the ban. It'll be over before you know it.

Go to the infractions tab on your profile. UserCP only displays the last 5 infractions. If you still can't find it look for an email, it could be a direct ban from ModCP.

 

I know, I browse through my infractions that way. It's not there..

 

user cp displays all of your infractions.
it only displays the last 5 reputation comments.

 

Maybe it shows for Mods

For me it has always showed last 5, should I post a screenshot?
