does anybody know how to get past this and create a gmail account??

WHY WONT THEY LET YOU CREATE ACCOUNTS
I ONLY HAVE LIKE 3 GMAIL ACCOUNTS USING MY NUMBER

WHY DID YOU SPAMMERS HAVE TO MESS THINGS UP
NOW NOBODY CAN MAKE GMAIL ACCOUNTS WITHOUT VERIFYING THEIR #

its obviously not your fault but it clearly states that the phone number has a maximum usage on email registration...

maybe its better to contact Google itself about this issue...

I don't even remember how many gmail accounts I have. I thought I had that many, but only 1 of them I use regularly. Maybe I have exactly 3 or I have more before they came up with this. I don't recall seeing anything about only 3 per number. I'll have to check my google accounts and see.

Maybe you just need to change the number to another one, if you can use other number. But I dont used to have this problem when I registered all my gmail account.

Why don't you use emails on some of your domain?! For example, domain1@emaildomain.com, domain2@emaildomain.com? Don't you want to be spammed? But why do you think Google want this?
I think 3 emails on gmail is more then enough for person, don't you?

you do realize that you can use the + sign and then add anything to your username before the @gmail.com and it will still work.

e.g. if your gmail is , when you sign up for say Yahoo.com you can use

and it will all go to the same email, then you can just filter it to go to a different folder...

you also do realize that if you have a domain name you can have up to 50 users per domain by signing up for Google Apps Standard and setting your mail servers to point to Google.

All I am saying is that before you start getting wrapped up in anger - check and see if there are available solutions out there.

    Gmail rocks IMHO

I have many domains, all forwarding to my gmail address.

I have then setup a separate "Send Mail as" for each domain so that any return email appear to have come from the right domain. In Gmail, click on "Settings" and then "Accounts and Import". More here about setting up a custom From address.

If that fails, take a chill-pill and turn-off your caps lock.

What do you expect? Google Mail is a free service, it's just like going to the shops and seeing a product for free when you buy a product, are they going to throw it in if you by say 10 of them? Nopes.

If you dont like free, and your not happy with being able to have 3 gmail account (why the hell you need 3 gmails is beyond me) and all the "I need it for seperate domains is a load of rubbish). If you have hosting and webmail on your hosting use it! or you could just look for other paid solutions.

that is such a waste... but again did you read my email about having your own domain name?

you can have 50 gmail accounts @yourdomain.com - just sign up for Google Apps...

    noobs these days...

    complain less and research more!

honestly i have more then 100 accounts on gmail
i only face to verify phone number when i create profile on orkut or other google services and if they restrict than let me tell you i can buy 4 new sim cards in just $1 :D

so this is useless for google
i dont know why most companies do such kinda things
for example some allow one account from one IP address so what on every restart of my router it assigns me a new IP address
some VOIP companies make restrictions but can break easily
for example if Google allow me to create 10 accounts with one phone number i ll buy another as i mentioned above 4 sim cards in 1USD and having balance in it so you can say totally free

sorry to say all but i just think why most companies restrict
these restrictions fact nothing only to force some people to hire other to do things
for example on craigslist an static IP user can not make classified ads more than one city so what ll s/he do hire a data entry opp having random access so..........? they made a restriction useless
if Google restrict account on one phone needy ll hire Indians and Pakistanis to create accounts where a sim card can bought very cheap
any way let me create new one

oops for me Google do not want to verify a number
