If i am an affilaite for:

    www.yoursite.com

    then I just add www.yoursite.com/?hop=myhop

to the end of the site.

Will I automatically get affialite commissions? Or do i need to do I need to create this hoplink through clickbank everytime?

    no.

http://yourNICKNAME.vendorNICKNAME.hop.clickbank.net <<notice there is no www. and it ends in .net Once you click that (but on a valid set of aff.vendor parameters) you will end on .com/?hop=yourNICKNAME <<Make sure you choose a nickname like 'securepage' or '148394' or 'index12' so it looks like the site generated it. Don't make nicknames like 'moneyman' or 'superseller' or 'guru' as that's a quick give-away (for certain niches but in general the former is best practice).

Once you click through to your vendor, click 'order now', when you come to the payment page, scroll to the very bottom, look for affiliate=yourNICKNAME < make sure you are there. Once you see yourself there, you did things right.

If you setup more accounts, make sure you clear your cache/cookies before testing again as you'll already be cookied and will now see affiliate=you for 60 days.

edit - to get your vendors nickname, click 'marketplace' and find your product - or use sites like NicheJunky (Sig) to mine products/trends.

NCMedia is correct. You need to use that specific Clickbank URL in order for proper tracking.

^ No, you will not get commission this way.

    No comprende.

I think you might be looking at someones landing page thinking it's the vendors sales page? There is no need to get around captcha with CB. Or are YOU the one serving the captcha (or an opt-in as we call them), simply set the thank you page (the page they go to once they click submit), to your link as I laid it out above. This way they come to your page, they opt-in to your form, and once they click submit, they go to your vendors page and you got their email.

Basically I promote a product with an opt-in, then the product starts sending them emails. Because the product is sending them emails I lose the follow-up commission because they get all the commission. So what is the solution?

Why would you want to link directly to the product landing page? It makes sense to go through CB site and create your linkhop, that way if there's a site redirection or changes it will still work and valid clicks will be registered.

Don't sacrifice your efforts by jump hoops my friend.
