Pricks! I wish all us affiliates would stop running ads for 1 week. They would go broke and realize how important we are to them.

On the other hand by them being so picky is good so not every Joe in the world throws ads up and tries to make a buck.

Your email sounds pretty incensative. They have to give you a reason otherwise how do you know how to fix it? You can always just start antoher account with a new domain name but if the problem is serious you will just be back ther again in a few weeks.

Never heard this before. I had my account suspended once because my credit card ran out:)

That sounds really horrible. Did you do anything to warrant this, honestly?

The main reason for all the recent account suspensions is affiliates who get low QS on a domain so just throw up another one to get around the problem...

The same thing happened to me. My ads stopped running then started again then a day later stopped. I called adwords and they said they would send my account to review by the team specialist. An hour later I get an e-mail saying my account is indefinitely suspended, without a valid reason. I was not promoting anything illegal it was a standard website. Adwords has so many advertisers that they shut down whoever they want because they don't need more people. I predict Yahoo search marketing will give them a run for their money in the years to come because they are much more professional when it comes to serving their clients needs.

You kidding? Have you tried using Yahoo or Bing's ad serving technology - it is unbelievably poor compared to Google:

    1) very low traffic numbers
    2) much less control
    3) REALLY crap interfaces in both cases

I did'nt do anything illegal the only thing ive done is create a standard website for my hosting company its yours to host. i dont think its fare google can ban accounts without giing a fair answer to why they banned it. im sure there as to be a law about it such as customer satisfaction. i mean if they dont give a answer then they can just be banning any account for no reason what so ever. ive been told by legal aid advice there is a company that can take this case on but as im sure your aware it will cost a lot of money. no matter how much a company is worth it dont give them any reason to break the law and if it is that they have to many customers then they should by new servers which can deal with a bigger amount of customers. i am really angry about this cause from looking on the internet apparently there is notthing that can be done. there is a book which cost $47 get your adwords unbanned but im sure that is proberly a con and i not it is deffo not a certanty that it will work. there as to be something we can do about it surely cause i think google am even iggying my emails now or just sending me templates.

In fairness, I don't think Microsoft would act the same way if they controlled adwords, simply to avoid further stigma of the brand name. The Google behemoth does not hold a negative reputation as of yet which allows it the freedom to do whatever it wants.

what joncado said about yahoo been better than google in the future yeah i do think that will happen if google carry on like they own the internet.i mean where would you rather advertise a site that once you paid suspends your account ie google or a site that gives you extra money if you qualify the first time you register.they said if i pay £70 they'd give me £50 free for my first payment.i think google is on its way out i mean type in google suspended accounts on google theres loads of complaints on forums.i like how they say dont contact us again but still send you a link to view lol. and lightwavestar i agree with what you say and its just not fare on the people who they rip off cause you cant get your money back.

Yes Google is treating publishers and advertisers very bad these days, recently i had come across a post on a blog telling that Google Adsense Playing dirty with publishers. According to that post Google banning users for literally no reason. I think it is the economic recession thats forcing google to do such things.

I'm an advertiser and I know there's always going to be a winner in this situation - and that's where I can make the most money. This requires more traffic - therefore Google.

Bing and Yahoo have tried various rebrandings, ploughing hundreds of millions into advertising etc - and the most they've ever achieved is a small rise in market share after an advertising burst - which then tails off as Google dominates again

We had our adwords account terminated today. This after spending neraly £100k in advertising since 2005 and spending the last 4 months trying to work with the adwords team in Ireland.
On the 18/7/09 I contacted google adwords about our account. Our ads had stopped serving due to low landing page quality score. I spoke to one of the representatives at length in an effort to try to understand the policy so that we could overhaul our websites so that they complied with google adwords advertising policies.
On the 20/7/09 our websites were manually reviewed and I received the following communication....
"I have received an update from the specialists who have now confirmed that
they have re-reviewed your website. Our specialists have found that you
site now complies with our landing page quality guidelines. You should see
improvements to your Quality Score soon, reflected by higher Quality Score
    details for your keywords."
On 17/9/09 our adwords account stopped serving ads again for the same low landing page quality score issue. I contacted google adwords again and spoke to a representative . He again refered it to the specialist team for manual inspection and I received the following response...
"Thank you for your phone call. Our technical team have reviewed your site
and have sorted out the issue with quality score. Unfortunately, this
appears to have been a system error, as there was no further information
on what specifically went wrong. Once sites have been reviewed manually
once, they should retain their higher quality scores. We apologise for our
system error, and thank you for your patience and understanding on this
    issue."

On the 25/9 we received an automated email about repeated site quality violations with a threat that our account would be closed down. I again called google adwords and spoke to a representative . He assured me that the email had been sent in error and that as our account had been manually approved there was no chance that it would be closed.
On the 27/9 I received a second automated email about repeated site quality violations. I again contacted google adwords and asked whether this was another system error and whether we needed to take action to revise our websites again. I received the following response...
From looking into this further it appears to be a system error.
"I have looked into your account xxx-xxx-xxxx it appears to be in order.
If you have any further concerns please contact us and we can investigate it further.

    Sincerely,
The Google AdWords UK and Ireland team"

I was advised to make no further changes to the account. I adhered to this request. Since our account has been manually approved I have made no changes to website content or adwords ads.
As you can see from the threads and our communications with the adwords team we have done everything we could to comply with the regulations. In addition to that we have been assured several times by 3 different adwords representatives that our account is fine as it has been manually reviewed. We have also been told that the warnings we have received have been due to system errors.

We did contact the adwords support team again yesterday who confirmed that our account had been terminated for repeated LPQ violations. He said that it would be refered to the policy team but there was nothing else he could do.
When I requested making a formal complaint he said that there was nobody to complain to.

The bottom line is that even if you think the problem is sorted with google adwords it may not be. If adwords support tell you that your account is OK and will not be terminated - dont believe them.

i guess it just adds to the "mystique" of online advertising! Like it isnt hard enough to get a site going as it is!

thats crap m8 what google did to you after paying that money.if your paying for advertising it should'nt matter if you is getting low landing or only 1 visitor every decade. at the end of the day your the one paying.i hope google goes bankcrupt cause if its treating customers like this word will get around and people will leave. where can i get the number to contact google reps cause id like to have a good talk with them. would'nt suprise me if its just a brain dead family that runs google. i mean it was a coupple that set facebook up so it is possible and would explain why you kept getting the same response and the reason why you cant make a formal complaint.
