I think google chrome is doing very well these days speciall it's veru light in use and you can felel how fast it downloads and browse sites. but some time it gives you sudden error and just stop working i think Microsoft is not properly supporting other browsers in winodws. so people come back to Internet Explorer. I want all your views on this. BALLY CHOHAN bally-chohan.com
i don't use IE as my alternative browser.. i use firefox.. i also heard an issues with using both chrome and other browser where you can encounter some problems..
I dont think so. I have not come across any error using Google Chrome. I Firefox and Google Chrome alot. Microsoft may not want other browsers to work very well in winodws, but there is nothing they can do to that.
Opera helps in better website display . So i would vote for Opera. The features are pretty good and they are in the field for a relatively long time.
agree with this one. I'm use firefox and also chrome together, and fine until now. Didn't use the IE, cause several think.
Yeah, Opera was always a nice browser. Don't know why people give so much attention to Chrome, may be because of Google. Opera is no doubt a good choice.
As on today, Chrome is being used by only 4.45% of Internet Users.. Where as IE has 56.88% and FF has 32.22% users according to statcounter. So, it'll take hell lot of time for Chrome to compete with FF.
Chrome is the best browser ever. It will no take lot of time to become as popular as firefox. The "inspect element" option in chrome is very usefull to the developers to diagnose coding errors in their sites.
It's OK for tech-savvy web users to talk about how much better these browsers are in comparison to Internet Explorer, but the fact remains that IE accounts for approximately two thirds of all internet use. Until the world's less technically astute web users, realise that there is an alternative, and have the desire to change, I don't see any great shift in market share for any of the browsers. Until then, we'll have to ensure that the sites we design work equally well on all formats.
