Quality Traffic Equals Increased Sales Conversions

When it comes to traffic, quality trumps quantity every time. If you want higher conversions and more sales, focus your energy on attracting quality, targeted traffic to your website.

That means stay away from FFA's, guaranteed traffic programs, and traffic exchanges. It's garbage traffic, and not worth your time, energy and/or money.

That also means don't trade links with anyone whose site isn't relevant to yours. You gain absolutely nothing from doing that. Instead, focus your energy on attracting quality, targeted traffic to your website.

If you do that, your sales conversions will increase dramatically!

Yea, the best traffic comes from search engines. Got to work on that seo, and getting links. Also, setup a business model where you can afford to profitably pay for traffic.

    Quality traffic = increased conversions?

We should nominate this fellow for a Noble Prize - what incredible insight!

(of course, half of the people on this forum don't understand this point, so I guess this thread isn't totally useless after all)

    You're quite welcome.

    David Jackson

If you're acknowledging that half the people on this forum don't understand this basic fundamental of marketing, then why the unnecessary sarcasm?

It's dlm, sarcasm is a necessity to get the point across.

But he's right. This seems to be an attempt at getting rep.

Quality traffic makes sense. I need guitar ads (guitar dealers, guitar lesson dealers) on my site. I'm not getting a response even with a 20 dollar a month ad offer (on digital point) for a 200 - 250 visitors daily site. But I'm talking to the wrong crowd. I'd have to directly speak with guitar dealers. I got one that contacted me from England. I'll see what happens there and keep everyone updated.

True people are buying ads on games, warez, fun sites etc.. They're paying a lot of money for a lot of traffic (10 or 20 times more traffic than my site) but wether it converts is another matter.

I really don't care whether you guys like it or not. I'm going to continue to state the obvious, because it's not always obvious to some people. If you don't like it, avoid my threads. Don't be haters!

yup agreed. one way to get quality traffic is from search engine, no doubt about it. another way is to advertise on the relevance place.

@all: why be sarcastic? i agree that the point being made by the OP is obvious (for most of us) but it still might be of help to someone who is new to the field... no point in being sarcastic to it..
