My site is getting index and unindex whats wrong.

I have Total URLs: 1,498 in my sitemap, but only 95 index after 2 months. google problem is that it index and unindex my site.

Whats wrong. am using phpbb-seo/

 

Its now 72 index page in less then 30 minutes

 

Forums are infamous for big changes in amount of indexed web pages; usually due to duplicate content issues in different thread modes and other duplicate issues. Make sure to properly have your robots.txt setup to block any duplicate content; tons of articles on the internet related to seo optimized phpbb robots.txt files. Second, start building backlinks not just to the homepage, but to each forum page and sub-forum pages. This encourages deeper indexing and helps crawlers go deeper into your URL nest. Make sure title tags are unique and no static text is added like "thread title here - MY FORUM", instead just use "thread title here". Consider adding social bookmarking icons for each thread and an auto-submission addon.

 

this can happen for many reasons like

• duplicate content
• server down time
• script bugs
• redirect pages
• htacces files

and freehosting services

 

It show duplicate content on my google webmaster
the server was down for 30 minutes yesterday
am redirecting 301 none www to www.site.com
I generated a new htacces yesterday
am not using free webhosting.

Is will temp or perm

I am not sure about server down, if the server is down, isnt there supposed to be a retry interval for the google bot web crawler/spider thingie?

 

There are too many duplicate moudles or webpage layout, so forums have low weight on search engine!
