Is there any demand for a web directories for gambling/ casino related sites?

How do you think a new web directory for casino related sites market itself?

 

depends on budget and how you wanna market it. You can make a few flyers and send them to your local casinos or if you are looking for over the net marketing then I would write articles, submit to directories or maybe contact the big casino sites for having a link on their sites

 

I think the world is a bit full of casino related sites, much less a directory that caters to them. I would think you'd have better success with a general directory that had a sub cat under games or gaming that dealt with online casinos.

 

There are already tons of them, find something unique

The one big problem with a casino related directory is that you can not use PayPal.

Since many directory owners do not accept listings from gambling related sites, it is a niche where there is a large demand for link building opportunities.

mixed responses, do you think a new FREE casino web directory woud be popular. My friend runs a web directory and another one which he sold - he said don't bother with a general web directory. I had a look at the casino web directories on the web and they all charge massive amounts of money so I thought I'd setup a free web directory. I do have a financial incentive to run a free one.

 

I think the casino/gambling sites were submitting more in the past.
