    Hello Digital Forum Members,

    I have a website before a week it's Page Rank is 3.

When I checked my same website Page rank by today, it's showing page rank 3.

    How is it possible?

I was used all off page methods and on page methods.

Can anybody suggest me that what's problem is there?

    or

    Let me send solution.

#1. Your not clear on what your concern is.
#2. It don't matter what the number is and the number may change at any time.

Page rank is a rough indicator of a large number of factors.
For example, if you do nothing, your site may drop just because
other sites are catching up to you.

Another reason, if you dont have permanent links your PR on the Serps will significantly drop.

page rank is reflected by your content, as well as your competitors competition.

Could of been a hiccup in the system to drop your pagerank. Or it could of been some sites that contained back links of yours have dropped off, or have been black listed.

    Hi NJ,

There may be some reason behind this....

    1. Your other fellow members have got good quality back links from some high PR pages.
    2. The PR has dropped for the pages from where you were getting back links.

    Possible reasons:

    1. Some of your backlinks may be expired or removed

    2. Possible google penalty for wrong off-page techniques

    3. May be Page Rank algorithm changed to more tough

In your post you just mentioned as you were doing some off-page methods. It will be helpful if you explain what methods you adopts.

PS: PR is nothing but a useless green bar. Please focus on your SERP and traffic and forget about the PR.

thats the nature of PR, it goes up and down. if you didn;t do any link building activity or if your PR links got removed or if google didn;t find your previous backlinks anymore for some reason, your PR can go down

It could be a million things... But in general, for whatever reason(s) your URL is now getting credit for

    1) fewer inbound links and/or
    2) lower quality inbound links

As others have said, some causes could include:

    1) pages linking to your URL have dropped your link
    2) pages linking to your URL have been deindexed
    3) pages linking to your URL have been penalized
    4) pages linking to your URL have had pages linking to them drop their link
    5) pages linking to your URL have had pages linking to them deindexed
    6) pages linking to your URL have had pages linking to them penalized
    7) Google changed their algorithm and are now devaluing certain links from pages linking to your URL
    8) Google changed their algorithm and are now devaluing certain links from pages linking to pages linking to your URL

    The list goes on...
