Traffic and Revenue is Down... anyone else?

I have 5 or so different small niche adsense sites, and all of them seem to have had a drop in traffic and revenue this month.

I got to wondering if this was maybe a normal "August thing", with people traveling, outside more, getting ready for school and not surfing as much. Does my theory hold water, or are my sites just declining?

My traffic has dropped dramatically over the past week. I don't know what's up.

 

I just looked at the first 17 days of May, and compared them to the first 17 days of August, and I'm making about half what I was in May.

 

i have noticed a drop in traffic as well.

If I keep up my average daily amount until the 30th I should just crack the $100 but still need another $40 to get there

 

How do Google's stats compare with your site stats [through something like CPanel]?

 

They have never matched up with mine but I monitor several sites via cpanel.

 

This month (August) havent ended and I've already made more than last month (July) or the month before. I've had the same amount of traffic in the first 2 weeks of august with the whole of july. Now you know where all that traffic went! I think this is because my site is a recreation activity site.

 

Just did some calculations for last month and the amount I had earned at the same point. After todays earnings I am now $15 ahead of where I was for the same point last month which is a relief as I thought I would actually be behind and didnt think I was going to reach the $100 this month. At least now I think it may just work. Althought with my $8 click at http://www.mytipper.com it seems there has been a rush of people trying to find out what ads I am showing there so likely there may be a flood of people doing the same content and design

 

I am not getting any fluctuation. Your sites content may be seasonal.

What is seasonal about a christmas site....

 

Just keep at it...the traffic just stopped at a red light, it'll turn green soon

 

major drop in impressions/clicks for me as well

 

I'm sure it's "August thing"... less people working and surfing the net!
