It does convey the information to the SE that this is something important and different than the rest of the page, if not overused (ie., everthing is not bolded or italicized on the page) etc. They are meant for visual consumption, not for search engine consumption, if the search engines do assign a weight to it then I doubt it.
yes it does. but i am not sure to what extent. but if you put it inside a header tag i know that SE's give a lot of importance to it. the importance given to bold tags would be less than header tags but still it is higher/better than nothing at all.
Bolding your title tag? That doesn't do anything... Your title tag's purpose is to tell the search engines what the page is about. There is no need to style it. That's what the H1, H2, etc tags are for. Bolded text is for the body of the page, not the title tag.
Hello, Sorry to say but I don't think that it will carry more benifit in terms of search engine. It attracts visually.
how do you bold your title tag? if you mean using your title on the blody and bolding it, then bolding doesn;t do you any good anymore. this is old school SEO trick that search engines picked up on years back
Search engines use your headings to index the structure and content of your web pages. Since users may skim your pages by its headings, it is important to use headings to show the document structure. H1 headings should be used as main headings, followed by H2 headings, then less important H3 headings, and so on. Use HTML headings for headings only. Don't use headings to make text BIG or bold. Example: <h1>Main heading</h1> <h2>sub heading</h2> <h3>sub subThis is a heading</h3>
