Phpbb-seo and vbseo

I think phpbb-seo is the same as vbseo. Why? Because they both use url rewrite and i notice phpbb-seo as static topics. vbseo don't. Am using phpbb-seo and am i currently have all my topics on post on the first google page 1-6. i haven't waste money on mods or software, Am new to the Seo world and am learning plenty of stuff from it.

Some one please tell me the diffrents?

 

Well the main diffrence is phpbbseo is for phpbb and vbseo is for vbulletin.. vbseo must have little more advanced features maybe specially coz its paid plus the rates are pretty high tooo...phpbb-seo is good and does decent work if u are using phpbb forum software

 

Just because something is expensive donsnt't mean that is good, my phpbb site has better ranking the vb site using seo it self.

 

VBSEO is much more than a simple URL rewrite tool!

 

vBSEO > phpBB SEO
phpBB > vBulletin

I don't use my vBulletin license anymore. I'll probably sell it. once in a while I find some pretty interesting mods in the vb.org forums though.

 

Check the phpbb mods they have more, plus is free.

 

When something is paid it is bound to have more features if not people wont buy it .. would u buy something expensive when u dont see a point of having it ?

 

I have used VBSEO for several projects and can vouch for the money side of things being well worth it, i am currently alpha testing VBSEO 3.5 for VBulletin 4.. Anyway last year i was lacking funds for a project and decided to use PHPBB & PHPSEO and never saw great results.. while they both rewrite urls VBSEO has a much finer tuned configuration and many more flexible features.. VBulletin has a much more raw power and i find i get more sign ups using VBulletin than PHPBB..

Not a huge fan of PHPBB but it is free and well not everyone can afford $200- for forum software and then another $150- for VBSEO, so f your struggling for funds then use PHPBB it's certainly not bad for a free product.

 

Vbseo don't create multiple copies of a page under different URLs - but costs $150.

phpBB Ultimate SEO URL - is free but has fewer features, and requires some manual set up....

 

It depends how you use it.
Sometimes phpBB SEO is better than vBSEO.
But, vBSEO is managed by SEO professionals and vBulletin professionals.
It has very good support and a active support forum.

That's why maybe it's a paid script.
