"Ads by Google" and "Advertise on this site" links error?

Has anyone have any idea why the "Ads by Google" and the "Advertise on this site" links are showing up like below... basically the text are being replaced with "????" (question marks)

    http://www.uploadmine.com/uploads/fc15256672.png

Does it have anything to do with the content on which the ads are in or something else? This doesnt show up on all my pages, just on one particular page.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Have you changed any of the code.

essentially it is most likely google testing. It may even just be a matter of your pages charset though so it is worth looking at that too,

This is the first time it happened, and like I mentioned this only appears on one of my page, I used the same ads on other pages but it does NOT display like that.

I have not alter the google code whatsoever.

Thanks for the help so far.

I would check straight with Google then.

It may just be them testing like when they started that

    "goooooooogle"

stuff instead of "ads by google"

I just wanted to follow up on this for future reference (some people might experience the same problem)... I emailed adsense support and received an answer from them.

The problem was because my page where the ads was being displayed doesnt have enough english contents and im displaying a lot of special characters on this particular page so the google crawlers were having difficulty determining the meaning and language of my page so it's displaying the "????" (question marks) instead of regular text.

They suggested to removed the adsense code as it's obviously not a good fit for displaying ads, I will probably put them back when I put more english contents on it.

i think it's because you are using an international version of adsense.

sometimes when i visit sites in chinese it shows like question marks.

edit: oops didnt see above post.

    Yeah email google.
I had something similar to this happen with one of my sites.
On the index page, and only the index page and only when the index file wasn't given in the url IE
http://www.mysite.com/ <-- would do the weird error thing
    http://www.mysite.com/index.php <-- worked fine

The kicker was sort of intersting. It put the "ads by google" and "advertise on this site" in FRENCH!

I had to email them and they said it was on their side and they fixed it.
