i noticed alot of websites that "grab" deals and posts from other blogs and automatically posts them on their blog.. I'm talking about sites like daily-free.com and trakkrz.com and bargainmoose.ca.. Are these scripts? Are they addons to wordpress? I need something done similarly where I put up a blog and the second another blog posts, I synch with it, posting a new blog with the same header, and then link to the other blog to read the full story (so that I'm not copying the content).. Is this done through RSS or how exactly? It is legal right?
Are these scripts? Are they addons to wordpress? WP-o-Matic : this is great plugin to autobot. Just install, put RSS Feed URL of any source blog, than sit and relax. I need something done similarly where I put up a blog and the second another blog posts, I synch with it, posting a new blog with the same header, and then link to the other blog to read the full story (so that I'm not copying the content).. little bit confuse, but here my idea -> ( think your site are A with full story and B with summary) 1. Enable RSS on A, make "summary only" 2. setting wp-o-matic on B, give RSS url of A 3. automatically B will have summary of A post as new post Is this done through RSS or how exactly? yes yes It is legal right? come on ... every website have their own rules .. read their rulezz
It works, but it's really not a great idea. If you write the content ahead of time and then post the timestamp in Wordpress for a future date (like 2 days from now) Wordpress will automatically post the content in 2 days when you change it to. So why try and steal content? You can have an autoblogging blog with unique content you write, just put in a little effort and it could be very popular
Grab a freelancer to work with you. Its like you make a unique content and smart blogging but you need to spend some $$
what about buying a whole database of contents and install into your blog? is this a good idea of having your own contents site?
