yes, every time the article is viewed, it is a request for the article to be displayed. they just use fancy word for it which confuses lot of people

Article submission in goarticles is free, also they provide facility to upgrade your article to their paid service, and requests refers the visits of the article & its shows how many time the article is clicked by the visitors .

You write the content they get the glory, backlinks from places like goarticles.com are very low value if its a good article put it on your own site.

It means that your article is a featured articles on that category and ready to purchase for other sub category . When you submit articles to go articles it is easily approve and get publish

    Hello,
It is better to place your article in your own site rather than to place it in goarticles. You may get better result there.

Yeah placing articles in Goarticles won't help you very much. Though Ezinearticles.com is a great site to post articles in. It's the most respected one by Google too... just has strict reviewers.

I posted articles into both ezine and goarticles and I can say that ezinearticles is much better to post them.

This is very bad if you spend your valuable time writing articles and interesting stuff, why post it on someone else’s site if the back link is going to be very very very poor?

You should make great articles quality not quantity and put them on your site then find webmasters that you feel will think these articles as they will be help full to their users.

Or fish out some nice blogs or websites that are not free for all and say to the webmaster you will right a article for their site in return for a back link to your site in the text not in the bio box but the best content is go on to your site.

These are free for all article sites that anyone can get a back link from how do you feel Google looks at this knowing it’s a free for all link?????????

How have these article sites gained there pr and there ranking???? from other peoples content and people linking to this content.

Better to have people link to your content on your site not linking to your content on someone elses site.

Don't even bother with article directories, they don't help that much. I have leveraged my blog to become popular solely on backlinks from popular blogs/forums and social networking sites.
