I have a product (here is a link) and am wondering what the best way to sell it through affiliates is.

Should I just sign up for CJ or what should I do?

    Thanks in advance!

You could join commission junction or you could manage it all on your own using softwares like idevaffiliate or jrox affiliate manager. Being the person I am, im more likely to choose to manage it on my own...(its basically personal preference nothing more)

    Ok, thanks for the tips!

offer them a sign up bonus...advetise your affiliate programs...there are various affiliate directories so get listed in those. If you have an opt-in list send them an email with an "exclusive" sign up bonus...put a link on your signature..

it also helps to make things easier for the affiliates by already providing them with marketing banners and so on...

Basically I have found it's quite hard...takes quite a bit of work..

    Goodluck on your program though.

It is better to start from educating yourself! It is a big and really interesting area. Read articles and affiliate forums.

By the way, affiliate forums are a great place to recruit super affiliates! try to communicate with them and learn what they really want, then create your program...

As for the network, I'd recommend start with SaS, CJ is too expensive especially for the beginners. SaS is friendly and costs A LOT less.

    Good luck!

    Thanks for the tips!

Does anyone want to manage my affiliates for a commission? I don't think I will be able to do it time efficiently.

I would like someone to do the CJ, privately manage things, or do what you gotta do to sell my stuff.

You can also do a google search in your niche. Look for sites that are building a list because they should have a customer base from which to sell your product. Contact them about selling your product.
