Hello all, I am new to these forums + thread as you can see with my first post. (hehe)

Have read the whole thread after a few days of reading here and really liked the useful information inside!
Just when I thought this was it there was something that exceeded the preceding subject! Really nice to notice.

I have just checked your landing page and signed up with my email address on it. But I haven’t received an email yet after about 30 minutes.. So maybe its not working or I might be too quick.

Now I've got one question: How many products did you promote at the end of September?

There is graphics related to the product at the bottom left hand side of the page. What I am trying to achieve with this though is a course of emails that will not only promote this product but will promote cpa email submits as well. This is what is so good about this sort of marketing you do not have to tie it to one product. I will be promoting the products I have released above very heavily but list marketing opens up all sorts of options for you.

That is why there is only the product box on the bottom left hand side of the lander.

i think the sites are quite appealing in their call to action - should capture most of the visitors emails.

Did I get you right - the no. of articles you'll write per niche is just 50? And then you'll be emailing your list with various CPA offers? Or will you also continue writing?

I think you'll have your plate full - but hopefully you are outsourcing the article writing - best of luck with it!

 

Pete, I must say I'm now more confused than ever on your keyword research strategy. Many of your keywords in your DSI articles have competition way over 10K with quotes, or search volume less than 1K..but many of the sites on page 1 of google have a PR of 4 or under..this is the only thing I see as making sense to me.

Can you explain a little behind your logic on choosing these keywords, please?

 

Oh I see that's a gateway basically to an email CPA offer submit and then you send the other follow up with the product links..

I have been thinking about this method, not much tought. Should work but I think it's a bit too much spam for a start..

I mean when do you do the follow up email, within an hour,day,week?

I'd put more graphics on the squeeze page if I were you, related to the product obviously ..

@prolife this is just the first round of writing. By next week I should have 50 articles pointing to all the pages. Then I will continuw writing from there on. I am expecting to have between 150 and 200 articles per niche pointing to these different landing pages.

@madlabs I know what it must look like on the dsi product but do not look into this one as anything I have said before does not go. This one is a test sort of. I know the google keyword tool says less than 1000 searches but I know that is wrong. I have researched this topic to death and there is an awful lot of people out there searching. This is one of this niches where the keyword tool is wrong. Wait till the other articles comes out for the other niches and then compare them to the dsi product that way you will see this one is completely different from the others.

@precious007 the only one that has the cpa offer on it first is the dsi. When the user confirms subscription they are then taken to the dsi offer page. After that they will get an email straight away with a link to the CPA offer. After that they get emails every 2 or 3 days offering them advice about their dsi and also an offer. I don't think it is anywhere near spam or spammy. The Cpa offer should work very well as they are already open to putting in their email address. Every other product is basically doind a 5 - 7 day ecourse that is what they are signing up for. I should have my first set of data within the week that way we will be able to tell what is working and what is not.

I just had a look at your articles Pete, Nice articles!

After reading the articles I was searching on the SE to check and have a look which other articles would show up... Now I found a link (which I cant display because I dont have enough posts yet) with 6,778 views. I am not very experienced in all of this yet, but could you or someone else here explain me how to compete and how to do better in the SE rankings then this article here?
It seem to be quite old (may 3rd) but also seem to be settled. I searched on: dsi downloads. And it showed up third on the google rankings for these keywords. Author: Elizabeth Hind.

Now another question: Why are you linking all of your articles to your landing page? I thought, as I have read in the beginning of this thread, it was better to back link 9/10 articles to your main article so that one would rank better.

 

@Diavolo I seen that one too. The good thing about the search dsi downloads and that article being there if you look just underneath it you will see that there is a second articlesbase article. If you cannot beat this article you should be able to get that second slot as it is a lot easier. That is the one that I go for first then try and beat the other one.
