YES. Facebook does allow you to post your affiliate links. There is no landing page or qs or the rest of that BS from adwords. It'll take some testing but you can make money on FB almost guaranteed!

Yes, you can. But most products are suited to pre-selling. I wouldn't advise to much direct linking.

The thing with facebook is that depending on the niche you pick you can't really rely on keywords for targeted traffic... only demographics. :(

Actually with Facebook advertising you can definitely pick based on keywords. The keywords are more limited because you pick from a set list but that makes it much easier anyway. AND in fact this is part of the beauty of facebook advertising because you simply pick an offer, picture and some keywords.

Do you simply mean posting links to your own affiliate website or do you mean inserting HTML banners etc in Facebook?

Not sure if its even possible to insert HTML banners in Facebook? Anyone knows?

How can you agree with that? have you ever advertised on Facebook? I can assure you 109.2% that you CAN use keywords with Facebook. AND you can also use demographics.

How do they convert? Depends on the offer, LP, demographic, keywords, etc... Too many factors to give you a #.

    Do they convert? yes.

Can they drive volume? yes. yes, they can!

When using a direct affiliate link you really should check with the affiliate you are advertising to make sure this is allowed. I find most companies don't mind, but some do and you don't want to lose your commissions for breaking their terms.

    Good luck with your advertising.

if you are promoting an international product/service that redirects non-international traffic to another campaign, you are going to get your ad dissaproved (remember, facebook employees are in California). To remedy this, I usually direct link them to the offer (rather than use my affiliate link). Once the ad get approved you can switch to your affiliate link. Remember to keep a close eye on your ad approval because if it gets approved while linking directly to the offer site, you won't get credit for sales/leads.
